That's got me thinking. Obviously I'm nothing like the height of that guy, just a bit taller than average, but everywhere I used to go people used to say "oo, you're tall" (as if they thought this was the first time anyone had ever noticed).
All through my 20s and 30s, at least several times a year.
Now, I don't remember anyone saying it for years. Not at all.
Now that's partly because I hardly ever leave the house, but (because I do sometimes leave the house) there must be other factors too.
