Thoughts on Neto performance yesterday?

Seen people saying he was exceptional but I though he was pretty poor

Again had sheit streams so can’t say much, but I did recall 3/4 times of pure quality from him where he created with impressive passing

I thought he got in a couple good positions and messed it up bar the second goal ( that I think Emerson was an absolute idiot on ).

I think Kulusevski had a better game than him.

Yeah that was a weird take, what did you expect him to do in that situation? Against one of the better 1v1 wingers and ultimately held him up long enough to get the defence back and limited him to passing the ball backwards. Its not like Jota squared it - who knows what Bissouma was thinking.

But yeh he had the nice pass that eventually led to the Hwang bad miss, the assist for the winner and I really liked his pass for the Bellgarde chance.

I think he took an age to get over and then let him come back inside instead of keeping him going to the line.

Although Bissouma no tracking the goal scorer properly is unforgivable

And losing the ball on the edge of their area. Bents got pelters last week for being pressed by three players.

But on a seperate note we had another midfield combo against Wolves. The first time the three of them have played with each other since the Chelsea game.

Ange keeps tinkering the mid and not helped by Udogie and Porro.

Bad day at the office yday. Two week break smells. Looking forward to playing three times in a week soon when the Chelsea game get rearranged.

That guy is so nuts, his latest thing is saying how everyone doubts him about X or how Spurs fans are so critical about <issue he made up>

Seriously, unfollow him. He is weird as anything.

Earlier on the season he was predicting results so gained followers (like me) but the more he writes the more weird he gets.

He was saying stuff like Madders was up there KDB and gassing him up too much.

The moment you do that with any Spurs player or manager it will wrong. It always does.

Emerson was just a car crash all game

we were in decent form at the time and struggled to score 2 goals against Sheff Utd. Embarrassging

full backs in terms of cover is the biggest issue

then theres lots of quality to be added to midfield and attack too

we have been proper shafted by suspensions, injuries and intl cup comps disrupting rhythm, fluency and fitness of the squad

the prem is so intense and since turn of the year especially we have really struggled with a full game display, fitness and winning the 2nd ball battles

of course every team has their issues with these things over the season but you can be luckier than others, the timing of ours really does seem to be particularly bad too

in terms of being easy to play against there is something to that. lots of tactically great managers in the league who will know what to do to stifle the way we play. when it isnt clicking or we cannot mix it up a bit more its really going to make things seem poorer.

would really love to stuff a team soon though, we really could do with that but its hard to see how that could happen on current form and teams arent daft enough to just play into our hands

The header should be enough really. Cost us a point but the constant poor crosses and playing Neto on side for that big chance Vicario saved.

He was just shiet ( so was everyone tbf bar Vicario & VDV ).

I think our situation will be easily sorted once Maddison gets up to speed
