It depends on the users. I hate the threads where it is like 16 replies with 3 or more people in the users and you are trying to figure out who said what

I think it also depends on the length of the comment. If you're replying to a single point then a reply works. If you're responding to one thing from several paragraphs it's just annoying

A completely random aside, I've always hated it when someone says "England are rubbish at everything, we never win anything" at sports.

When in reality England/UK are arguably the greatest sporting nation(s) in the world.

Team GB are one of the olympic superpowers, England are one of the highest performing nations at some of the more popular global sports - football & cricket. England very strong at Rugby and if team GB was a thing for Rugby it would be even better (kinda like the lions). Good golfers. Strong across motorsports.

Only sport that matters that we haven't really cracked is Basketball.

You get it loads, usually from England football fans who like to go on about how England are terrible are at sports.

england football fans are some of the worst creatures in sport though
