Bit of reflection on the match:
* thought we faded really hard 2nd half as Bergvall was poor and looked gassed. He was never available to receive from the midfield after 45 minutes and we really felt it when Madders went off
* Sarr was excellent and dictated play from deep really well throughout
* sons passing was very good
*Djed faded hard in the 2nd half which is understandable but delighted with his cameo
* I do find Gray impressive, such a talented player

They was but that first goal was about as good as a team goal that anyone could score. Ridiculously good

I do think the whole "x were terrible" is always applicable when a team loses by a lot of goals with very few exceptions. In reality the difference between every team isn't that high, but the main variance in performances & outcomes is form, fitness, confidence & preperation.

Is it relevant why a team is awful?

City, for example have been awful lately. Southampton have been awful all season. I think our friend sizzle makes a valid point in not overreacting based on a game against a team that could well break Derby's record if they don't sort it out

Also worth noting that the GN regulars are notorious for getting giddy after a result

I just find it funny that if you say that was a good result you get someone normally a poster who doesn’t like the manager that don’t overreact yet if we lost they’d be losing their shiet about it.

Oh yeah. There was a great comment a while back that said how bad Ange's record was if you ignore the first 10 games. There's no need to make big conclusions all the time

Also it was interesting to note there's no article from morespurs following a good win. Though I did notice a comment on the match thread saying maybe it's ok to hope we lose to sack the manager. Not 'I hope we keep playing like this and he proves me wrong'.
