but im doubting that they have any effect on our climate

I'm not following. You agree that they are green house gasses but don't agree that these green house gasses warm our atmosphere. You are contradicting yourself. That is exactly what they do. Do you mean you are not sure whether our contribution significant enough relative to all the other natural sources of green house gasses expulsion?

TWAG's all over this

I have to say the theory makes sense but we have no proof either way - safest thing to do is fence-sit.

TWAG -

I dont agree that anything we do as humans effect our weather or temperature, they have tried this on a miniscule model and they couldn't prove it, everything is natural and what ever happens will happen...

To think that humans can effect such a force as nature itself is being big headed to say the least

They tried it out on you RRP?

It's not so unreasonable IMO - we are adding CO2 to the atmosphere that has no business being there in the natural order of things. Just like the food chain - you only have to insert/remove one apparently insignificant orgainism and it all falls apart.

Wheres my buddy messia?

The counter-argument would be that deforestation is removing the planets (possibly quite adequate) ability to process the increase in CO2.

--------

Indeed, that would add to the argument that we're modifying the planet's weather

I'm sure you've heard of Chaos Theory. Well that theory was developed through dynamic modelling of earths weather cycles. It doesn't take a big input to have a significant varriance on the models outcome.
