Second one completely ruins a decent article. It wasn't Gerrard's job to protect the back 4. Rafa always played him further forward anyway, and had made a tactical mistake in the first half which limited Gerrard's ability to impact the game.
Rafa corrected that error by bringing on Hamann and Gerrard was unlocked, but still had to drive the team forward from 3 goals down, and he didn't disappoint< scoring a goal and winning the penalty to equalise.

1 and 2 aren’t overrated while I don’t recall anyone thinking Ronaldo won the Euros for Portugal. In fact isn’t he generally laughed at for the way he tried to ‘coach’ the players on the sideline in the final?
I do think the Invisibles was an impressive achievement while also a tad overrated. It is a little misleading considering they lost 7 games that season in all competitions. There are also 12 occasions during the PL era where a club has won more points than Arsenal did with the Invincibles. I know it’s been done in other major leagues, usually by clubs who have also won a CL/European Cup, and I’m pretty sure they all prefer those titles to the unbeaten league seasons. I genuinely think that because Arsenal have never won a CL they use the invincible tag more then they probably need to.

Everything Cheatchester City have achieved.
It's like watching Ben Johnson win the 1988 Olympic 100m final with his drug fuelled bloodshot eyes bulging out of his head.

It was Gerrard who failed to protect your defence in the first half, so it absolutely is his mistake.

Boring rivalry, and klopp only challenged for the league 3 times, winning it once. You'd think he was up there for every one of his 9 years

Just watch him under Ruben. Antony is a top top, player. Technically he's one of the best in the league. He just needs his confidence back, as well as playing the right position.
