Strange that Mr.Collum didn't mention the failure of Mr.Beaton or VAR's failure to intervene on the yellow & red card worthy offences when Kyogo & Hatate were assaulted during the game or overturning Kyogo's yellow card for being fouled by the Rangers player.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
That’s fine though. They don’t matter because we won, you see.

Oh well all know you've complained about stuff for decades...believe me, we know
---
What you imagining for then?

It's not like your history.

Look, you can't have your cake and eat it. Either you accept Celtic's complaints were as valid as this one or you shut up about this one.

Anything else is a bit snide.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
What cake am I trying to have aswell as eat like?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
You’re happy enough for Rangers to be going bonkers over this but you seem unable to say that without having a wee sly dig at Celtic and us doing the same over the years.

FWIW, I understand your frustration.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Are Rangers going bonkers over this?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I suspect they’ll be drawing up a histrionic statement right now. They have history. For statements anyway.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I'll wait to see what the wording of that statement looks like....if there is one...and judge on that whether the response is "bonkers" or not

You seem to making some sort of point that merely making a statement is somehow bonkers.....should the club just sit there and say nothing when the head of referees has just admitted, publicly, that a basic but hugely significant VAR error has been made...is that really what you are expecting??
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I don’t know or care what they’ll do. Something vvanky, no doubt. Wherever they do, it will be funny.

I wasn’t even only talking about the club anyway. I meant ‘Rangers’ as a collective, more than anything. And, yes, the bonkers has been off the charts.

I know you said earlier some of your fellow fans are beginning to be a little more stoical now. But I think your pants are on fire with that one.

What's done is done......the club can make a statement but it won't change anything

Collum has acknowledged it as an error, and the point that it's simply not good enough has been made, and will likely be made further by the club in some shape or form

Not shaking it off would be demanding replays, and compiling some sort of dossier as this being the latest in a catalogue of incidents against us, as if we are being treated differently from others....that'd be too far, that'd not be shaking it off....that'd be bonkers

Very happy with Collum's comments on the VAR review show

Was clearly a penalty, and it is a major error from the VAR

I'm glad it went to VAR, and I'm glad we heard the audio

The bit that got me most was where he says "it's more outside"........that just showa a complete an dutter level of incompetence for me.....if it's at all inside it's a pen, that's the rule, he should know that

I was saying the Beaton should have been called over to the monitor to at least look at it, but I'm even more happy that Collum has said that shouldn't even have happened, as this was as an easy decision to make, it was factual, and an immediate overrule of Beaton should have happened because the VAR has clear evidence of a foul in the box

Only thing left to stay is...I don't want to even begin imagining the uproar of the shoe had been on the other foot here and it had happened to Celtic and it was they who had lost the cup final

This is an extremely poor error by the referees, it has been slated by the man on charge of the referees....and that's now two league cup finals against you that we have had major decision go against us (Julien offside before VAR came in, and the pen in ET on Sunday)

Pi$h pi$h poor from the VAR
----------------------------------------------------------------------
"Only thing left to stay is...I don't want to even begin imagining the uproar of the shoe had been on the other foot here and it had happened to Celtic and it was they who had lost the cup final"

It would have been exactly the same reaction as we've seen this week with the usual moonhowlers asking for the game to be replayed, their pals claiming there's a conspiracy, and the club demanding an explanation.

We made these complaints for decades and were told to shake it off.
Welcome to the club.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

We have VAR now though. These two clowns sole job is to ensure the onfield refs got his decision right.

This was not a decision that required any subjective assessment. It was either in the box or not. A quick glance at the stills confirm 100% by the laws of the game it was in the box.

Its absolutely unforgiveable levels of incompetence that have affected a national final.

I've literally heard Rangers fans calling for the game to be replayed, have had several Rangers fans send me videos of "honest errors" (their words) which is just a montage of decisions they thought they didn't get during OF games, and I've had days of reading comments about some grand conspiracy.

So aye, absolutely bonkers but what comes with some elements of our fan bases.

As damaging to the credibility of Scottish football as say.. one of the two biggest teams being liquidated while owing millions of pounds to the taxman and small businesses?

Gonna take some mistake from a ref to come close to that

posted 2 days, 16 hours ago

What actually happens now as result of that situation at the weekend?

Rangers go full Willie Miller and berate the Ref for every decision?
We see a spike of Penalties for shirt pulls in the box?
We go back to stopping the game every 5 mins for forensic VAR analysis?
Tavpen is back on the accumulator?

Watch what you wish for!

Maybe they're going to put up some cash for additional training?

They've got an absolute cheek. Shambles of a club. They've got enough problems of their own to focus on.

You're an absolute shambles of a club.
Massive downsizing of the playing squad.
Incompetent C-Suite executives and still can't keep them.
Never made a profit.
Groups of fans out of control.
Empty trophy cabinet unless you count the weans and wimmin.
I could go on but I'm bored.
