They are on a 2 game winning run so we probably will lose, or at least drop points to them. The only teams we can beat right now are those in absolutely crud form.
Is it any wonder he was successful in those other leagues when the standard of team is the likes of the only PL teams we can beat at the moment? The SPL is practically 10 Southamptons in a 12 team league.

Literally no fit CBs available for Wolves

Looking more suspect that there is more to these injury problems than bad luck. I mean we already know VDV and Romero were risked being thrown into a starting team to play Chelsea and got injured as a result. Makes me think Ange is playing desperate games in training too.

Ange needs a couple of wins or else Levy may well put him out of his misery especially if the atmosphere turns toxic in home games.
I hope we can get the wins but I’m not confident.

Yes we have injuries. But Ange signed Werner and dragusin who are not good enough at this level. Plus Johnson who has one thing he does well
Apart from Romero and vdv who else starts that’s missing?
Lose two more games and he’s gone imo.

I think the cup game with Liverpool will be his last chance, probably with both Levy and all the fans. The cup is the only slither of hope people have got left right now. Lose that and he's lost our hope and our patience.
Having said that if we continue our league form and by some miracle beat Liverpool I think Levy will have made up his mind that Ange isn't going to be with us next season either sacked this season or in the summer.

Our loss yesterday didn't even have anything to do with not having Vic, VDV or Romero. We had all the possession and couldn't even threaten their goal. Nuno organised his defence to stifle us and hit us on the break. That was his plan and it worked well, and we've seen it before from other managers. Ange got out-coached and had no answers.

Think that’s a bit harsh. Johnson had two great chances, should’ve taken the second one.

I’m starting loath the inverted full back tactic. It causes more issues than gains. How many goals have we conceded because porro or udogie are way out of position? It’s the reason vdv is injured so often, having to sprint back and cover the lack of full backs.

I take it that was in the first half? I only saw the second and frankly I saw Forest look more likely to score than ourselves despite the possession.
In isolation the result would not have been the worst thing but it's an accumulation of poor form and results.

A few tweaks to the system over the course of the season could have won us many more points than we have. Would it jeopardise things that much to make tweaks?

Sorry to say, but Ange’s talent just does not match his ego, pretty sure his “philosophy” has never failed him before and now that it is he doesn’t know how to react or change things.
I doubt even a decent January transfer window will stop his (and Spur's) spiral.

Problem yesterday is Anges inability to come up with Plan B not one fan would have moaned if we had gone all out and had 20 shots on goal only for the keeper to have a worldie and lost 2 -0 to go out with the whimper we showed is abysmal.

Romero, VDV, Davies & most probably Dragusin all injured & unavailable for Sundays match…
It’s an utter disgrace….
We are going to have to use Gray & Dorrington for that match…
Needs to bring Godfrey & Skriniar in, asap
I’ve come to realise that Levy has seriously let us down, on the playing side of things…
Ang’s tactics probably cause injury problems, for these defenders…
If we lose to Wolves… then Ang will have to go… it’s just not working

‘Tic fan in peace. Up to a point I see the argument that he had it “easy” in the SPFL, given that Celtic are better resourced than the rest of the league combined (Rangers included) … albeit he had us playing a fantastic brand of football to watch (domestically anyway). That argument doesn’t wash for his title successes in Aus and Japan though, where he was competing in much more “level playing field” leagues. So I’d argue he’s a pretty decent manager/coach, BUT with a footballing philosophy that was always likely to be found out at Prem level … maybe with ANY squad, but most definitely with the players at his disposal at Spurs. Said on here when he got the Spurs gig that I couldn’t see it working long term, and that he wouldn’t deviate from it, as much as I was hoping it might work out. From the games I’ve watched recently, sadly looks like he’s on very borrowed time now. Love the bloke for his time up North, and for his fantastic back story about how his football philosophy evolved (Puskas and all). He’s got to where he is the hard way.

He looks a dead man walking but spurs really need to get the next one right
Iraola is the man I’d go for and a 3 year deal with CL qualification the requirement in year 3.
Until then give him time etc to build a squad/team
However as always your main issue is levy

Our form is terrible but lots of mitigating circumstances as to the reason why. Ange has not helped himself either.
Best to concentrate on the cups and get to 40 points.
