Saying 3 weeks now. But, Farke said himself too
early to determine if it'll be longer. Earliest back in
second week of February.

Which means square peg Amps in at LCB, unless
Wober is fit enough now. If it is Amps, we weaken
our midfield options. It's good we have Tanaka &
Rothwell to run that. Plus Gruev back.

Farke also said: (paraphrasing)
If we brought in a new CB now to cover, it'll take
that player 3 weeks to get up to speed. Which is
Pascal's time frame to return. If it's a longer term
injury, they will act accordingly.

Weird that other teams can start new players
immediately and not have to worry about
"getting up to speed". Yet we can't.

its a pretty sensible thing to say to be fair.. which other clubs haven't ever had to try and factor this in btw?.. surely someone's got to be hitting the ground running if you;re going a team top of the league... why would you expect any less? its not like mid table clubs pretty happy being where they are, of course they've got more time to settle.

I cant remember if they asked about Wober, I cant recall them asking tbh.

Struijk is a big loss. Fortunately we do have decent cover in Ampadu and Wober.

Farke said Wober is training and available but his minutes must still be managed.

Anyone still thinking adding this transfer window's daft?

Deja vu.

They reckon its 3 weeks at best and could be 3 months out.

Just read same Shaun.

For a team that has avoided injuries,
by my count the following have been
injured this season:
Bogle
Firpo
Byram
Struijk
Gruev
Amps
Piroe
Bamford

Yes, we're top. However, to hope we don't
suffer anymore injuries between now and
May is stretching things.

If I'm Sheff U I go buy Omibamadele now.

Any leverage we had, if we were looking at CB this
window has gone. That's now with the selling/loaning club.

Course it’s daft - another month or more and we’ll have that prolific goal scoring machine known as Patrick Badform back to full fitness. For at least a week…

The odd thing here is, people drag the same argument up at the same time every year, but sinse the 49ers took over the same people have seen better come in!..

People should know they don't let on as to who or if they're looking at, but they have a habit of bringing unknowns in a little later in the window, but hey, as good as some of those players have been, some'll still have a dig, don't understand why people can't hold on untill things get sorted and if any do come in, they can than pick the bones out of whoever that might be!..

The way they do things is much better than ending up with Cellino's 11 coming in and having a very unsettled changing room, I'm a lot happier knowing no more than other clubs as to what they'er doing!..

"Yes, we're top. However, to hope we don't

The same as any new players coming in have the same chance of getting the same injury's!..

Strange the way people think any new players coming in are going to be bionic!..

Sounds like a pretty solid argument that this squad can cope with injuries and be top of the league to me.
