When is enough?

It should be done this morning. I think we might have to wait to get beat by Everton first though. But he is undoubtedly on the brink

posted 1 day, 21 hours ago

I think he goes today. Equally, no matter who manages this club, we are doomed under these owners. They’re only interested in balance sheets, not football success. It’s high time that they sold the club on to some oil money.

posted 1 day, 21 hours ago

Agreed he needs to go today, but we are doomed under any manager so it’s irrelevant

Levy has historically been very quick to pull the trigger.

Poch got sacked after his first bad run in 5 years
Jose before a cup final
Nuno after 10 games
Conte after his rant (with us in much better form than now)
Stellini after 4 games

Yet, the man with the longest rope is someone who has been dreadful for us beside his first 10 games and who's biggest achievement in football is winning the SPL with Celtic?

Just shows how clueless Levy is.

We need to keep with him, we are still in all the cups and hopefully get some players back soon.

Doesn’t make sense to get rid of the manager when in about a months time we get our defenders back.

It’s the squad disruptions. This long term vision. Lack of managers he would want in available. Fact we are in the 3 cups.
Why levy hasn’t sacked him
I’m sure when players are back and we are out of a couple of cups, he’ll do it, unless we seriously do look like getting relegated lol

I do agree but I’m not confident we will improve much with players back unfortunately

Fact is even with them back we still have the same midfield and attack too, and also didn’t get great results earlier in the season

You are not going to be dragged into a relegation battle.
You are still in 3 cup competitions. Its too early to start asking for Ange to be sacked.

West game above us and they sacked their manager lol

Ham*

The cups to hold a key though but if we beat Liverpool at anfield it will be a miracle

And hard to see how we are good enough to win the europa

posted 1 day, 21 hours ago

I've said it before on here, he is Ten Haging us.

The Man City result kept him in a job.

The Liverpool result, kept him in a job.

Results either side are terrible.

Our only hope for the season is Europa, a we CANNOT WIN IT WITH ANGE. Get an experienced grown up in charge and we have a good chance.

Forget the League Cup, Liverpool are gonna smash us.

Also, people stop harping on about injuries, we were rubbish when they played second half of last season and we're about at Crystal Palace and against Ipswich.

We've lost more games than Ipswich!

Here's a question..... What exactly is "our football" that he keeps talking about in his post match pressers. He said it last night, he was more annoyed about our inability to play "our football" that Porro hitting the post that would have enabled us to escape with an undeserved but much needed point.

I honestly don't think it matters who we buy or what players come back from injury, Its NOT possible to play the idealistic brand of football he wants.... Defo not in the PL, Defo not away from home in an NLD and defo not when you have experienced players missing.

FFS sake Ange, just come up with a plan that gives us a chance to win a point against a good team, away from home with key players missing.

Last night was one of the most pathetic efforts by everyone (Manager & Players) in a NLD that I can remember.

Its only a matter of time till he goes, He'll get until the LC semi and he'll be fired when we lose that.

I don't expect the club to trust a guy who has us in 14th place and playing relegation form football for 14 months with any cash of note this month. He's killing the players we have both in terms of confidence and injuries, I can't see why anyone would want to join Spurs right now.

Sorry state of affairs AGAIN

Oh special mention for Sonny....... Club Captain. Do me a favor.... Nice guy but one of the weakest minded players I have ever seen.... I accept your legs have gone but the least you could do is not go missing week after week. I wonder what the likes of Bergvall, Spence, Kinsky and Archie thought watching him get subbed AGAIN.... Zero leadership when the going gets tough

Why will they care when they are making ££££ doing exactly what they are doing.

Pretty soon we will be above Liverpool in revenue and fast closing in on Man U WITHOUT winning a single bean.

Take that in!

So why would they risk losing money buying expensive and truly world class players and paying them the going rate when it will affect the bottom line for profit.

They have said all along this is a business investment.

But we still have many blinded by this and backing them and believing they are doing the best that can be done on the footballing front.

But you cannot get away from the fact injuries have have an impact on the fit players who have been playing 3 times a week since late Nov.

I'm gonna hope this season is taking a step back to go two forward next season.

If Ange is still here, great if not, lets have another transition then.

Yeh injuries apparently have played no part in matches against Chelsea, Liverpool (twice), Nottm Forest, Man United, Newcastle and Arsenal since early December.

Out fanbase are hilarious.

And have more points. So what exactly are you saying? The injuries have absolutely crucified the team, and are you saying having up to 10 players missing since early December has had no affect on results when during that time they have had to play

Chelsea
Liverpool (twice)
Nottm Forest
Man United
Newcastle
Arsenal

Of course it has made a massive difference having only one of the regular defenders starting, and the one in the poorest form.

The knives are sharpening in the media, won’t be long now. I think he will survive to the Everton game, but if we go to Goodison and get bullied out of it like I suspect, then Levy will have no choice.

There is a very good chance we could be bottom 6 by the end of the weekend. If Everton beat us - then this dog schitt Everton side who have sacked Dyche and got routed 4-0 by us earlier in the season would only be 4 points off us.

The West Ham side we smashed 4-1 earlier in the season and who have sacked their manager now sit above us.

Remember when we went to Palace and they hadn’t won a game all season - they now sit level on points with us.

It really should be today, but I’m expect ting it to be Sunday/Monday

Are you forgetting the one defeat in 11 cup competitions this season, and still being involved in all three cups. Or doesn`t that count as part of a season?

posted 1 day, 19 hours ago

You will be making a big mistake in imho opinion if you sack Ange now. He needs to be given until the end of the season where I believe he will win a cup then walk away. You can see he no longer enjoys working for the club and a largely deluded and entitled fanbase!

Levy can't wait to wear his new beanie in the championship next season

The gravy guzzler is surely finished.

13th place after a season to bed in cannot be acceptable.

Deluded to expect better than a bottom half finish?

Jose had us in a league cup final and top 6 and still got the chop.

Conte got sacked after qualifying for the CL and then winning our CL group.

We pay the highest prices in the Prem as fans only to watch players run into each other and no one take any accountability whilst our manager stares at his shoes

Sadly there's no money to be made in winning Cups (Ex the CL) and we don't win cups anyway.

I think you have to be overly optimistic to think we'll get the result we need at Anfield & at Villa in the 4th round. Only my opinion but I have no faith in this team and this manager winning a big game against a better side in the later stages of the Europa.

A cup run is something you give lower league clubs credit for, For the top sides its simply not as important (ex the CL) Its why players are rested and youth players are given a chance.

I don't think Spurs are any better in the Cups than they are in the league as highlighted on Sunday.

We have some good players, but they look broken to me. Footballers are motivated by winning and money.. not some weird brand of ideology that Ange is preaching.

Just give me a manager that places equal emphasis on both ends of the pitch and can coach a midfield to be equally effective
