You will be making a big mistake in imho opinion if you sack Ange now. He needs to be given until the end of the season where I believe he will win a cup then walk away. You can see he no longer enjoys working for the club and a largely deluded and entitled fanbase!

Deluded to expect better than a bottom half finish?

Jose had us in a league cup final and top 6 and still got the chop.

Conte got sacked after qualifying for the CL and then winning our CL group.

We pay the highest prices in the Prem as fans only to watch players run into each other and no one take any accountability whilst our manager stares at his shoes

"Deluded to expect better than a bottom half finish?"

Has the season finished already then?

The knives are sharpening in the media, won’t be long now. I think he will survive to the Everton game, but if we go to Goodison and get bullied out of it like I suspect, then Levy will have no choice.

There is a very good chance we could be bottom 6 by the end of the weekend. If Everton beat us - then this dog schitt Everton side who have sacked Dyche and got routed 4-0 by us earlier in the season would only be 4 points off us.

The West Ham side we smashed 4-1 earlier in the season and who have sacked their manager now sit above us.

Remember when we went to Palace and they hadn’t won a game all season - they now sit level on points with us.

It really should be today, but I’m expect ting it to be Sunday/Monday

Are you forgetting the one defeat in 11 cup competitions this season, and still being involved in all three cups. Or doesn`t that count as part of a season?

Sadly there's no money to be made in winning Cups (Ex the CL) and we don't win cups anyway.

I think you have to be overly optimistic to think we'll get the result we need at Anfield & at Villa in the 4th round. Only my opinion but I have no faith in this team and this manager winning a big game against a better side in the later stages of the Europa.

A cup run is something you give lower league clubs credit for, For the top sides its simply not as important (ex the CL) Its why players are rested and youth players are given a chance.

I don't think Spurs are any better in the Cups than they are in the league as highlighted on Sunday.

We have some good players, but they look broken to me. Footballers are motivated by winning and money.. not some weird brand of ideology that Ange is preaching.

Just give me a manager that places equal emphasis on both ends of the pitch and can coach a midfield to be equally effective
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Don't need to win at Anfield to reach the final. Even a narrow one goal defeat gives Spurs a 50/50 in a penalty shootout.

No but we’re 55% of the way through the season and 13 points adrift of the position we finished in last year - do you feel it is too soon to draw conclusions?

We’re a team that wants CL qualification - top 4 is 14 points away, bottom 3 is 8 points away.

All very true... but would a 2-0 defeat and subsequent exit make it a good cup run given our league form ?

Just not sure you can use random draw/heavily rotated knock-out cup competitions as barometer for success when the week to week "day job" of league football is so woeful

And I should have been correct in November - I’d rather be wrong about this than just spending my days calculating how many more windows Ange needs.

Yep, big wins against City, United and Liverpool have kept him in the job.

So if he gets sacked on Monday then I will have been out by a single week - I would be happy with that.

If he goes at the end of the season then I will say I am a complete clown who got it totally wrong - can’t say fairer than that.

🚨🚨🥇| Ange Postecoglou retains full backing within #Tottenham with an understanding of the situation he's dealing with right now.

Club are believed to be trying to put in the right structures and people around him.

It's almost got so late in the season with Ange that we may as well stick with him to the end and hope to avoid relegation, which I think we will. Whether he wins a cup or not, there has to be an upturn in results in the league for me to want to continue with this guy. Once all the fit players come back it has to be a turnaround in form similar to what Newcastle have seen.

I suspect he won't even last that long to see a full strength team again. Hopefully the club at least has an eye on who we will consider bringing in when the trigger is eventually pulled.
