For those of you with doubts like junction, the link was from Huddleston's twitter - http://twitter.com/#!/TomHuddlestone6/status/124514525373407232 - which although not officially verified by Twitter, is being followed by a lot of Spurs players (some of them having verified accounts) as well as the official Spurs page, which has been advertised on the OS.
So yeah, have no fear, this isn't a scam

Haha, yeah I suppose I interpreted your comment wrong. Either way, if anyone did have any doubts about the legitamacy of that page (which would be fair enough, really), hopefully those doubts have been put to bed now
Kranjc It Up, answering the questions you never asked.
Great cause is it bad to say £500 is nothing to him?
Considering his weekly wage is possibly 30k..... No!
I am sure your bored of hearing this story however....
When my mother passed away in hospital Tommy H sat with my dad for about 4 hours, talking to him getting him coffees,etc.
He noticed my dad wearing the spurs polo top and would not leave him.
Lovley bloke, words cant describe what a genuine nice person he is.
Im fairly new to the forum 'look like modric' so I haven't read that before. Its a nice thing to hear that a player gave up his time to be with a someone in a sad time. Most people would have done nothing, so when you hear stories like yours it does make you realise that not all players are 'disconnected' with the rest of us because of their vast wages.
that is some quality story right there
Looks Like Modric,
Having just lost my own mother,I can fully appreciate what a gesture that was. Tommy Huddlestone is now officially one of my favourites. Why the hell dont the papers pick this up.

@smegspur
Very sorry to hear that buddy. Hope you are coping ok.
Didnt mean to put a sad spin on things, thought everyone had heard my story before! Just wanted to emphasise what a nice person Huds is.
Top bloke but I suppose £500 is nothing to him?
