I haven't played AC since the first one. Are the others any good?

No.

All are exactly the same.

Booo, what a waste of money. Glad I didn't bother with them.

On topic.... I care more about my Club than the International stage, So i'm happy that Rooney is being slated

I don't agree that Rooney was harshly treated. There are examples of similar bans. Andrei Arshavin missed the first two games in 2008 after getting a 3 match ban for a red. (Arshavin went on to be one of the stars of the tournament, helping Russia to the semis, of course.)

Rooney should definitely go. The 23 man squad almost always is more than enough. You only really need 18-20 players for such a competition in my opinion.
Some say if we get through the groups then no-one deserves to be dropped, but that was hardly the case in South Africa!!

Stupid thing for Rooney to do, and he has to pay the price. But had France taken a similar stance to what some are crying out for, then Zidane would have seen his international career cut short, Maradonna would have seen his international career cut out at 17 etc.

What's miffing me off is all the other teams numpties on the United board bragging about it.....why not try the England board where more people care! Ffs each post is from Chelsea, Gooners and even a friggin blackburn fan! At least the scousers have the same attitude towards Englnad than we have......United fans care more about Sat more than Rooney's ban which is next year ffs!

I'm glad he's banned, can't wait to see the rest of them lot fail and go out before knockout stages.

England are pathetic bunch of over paid muppets.

I've got my hopes up for the last 4 or 5 world cups only to be left let down and feeling why bother.

What the stupid "I don't care about my country I just care about my wonderful team" attitude? That's a ridiculous attitude. Also, you've been defending him an awful lot so you must care at least a little.

Can't tell if trolling or just incredibly dumb.

Very glad that UEFA have stuck to the rules and given Rooney a 3-match ban, the very idea of it getting lessened because he's a great player is obscene but typical of the English FA who have repeatedly gone out their way to dole out lenient punishments to England players domestically, particularly England captains. Especially Rooney and Terry.

It comes from the fact I'm not English......trying to support the lad as I actually want to see the best players play in the Euro's. I like England to do well, like all the home nations but I'm from a strong Irish background so yes, UNited way before England.......just my feelings but I want to see Rooney do well as he is a fantastic player to watch. Plus why 3 games, when a Ruusian player did the same and got 2 games........just a thought!

Rooney - 3 match ban for violent conduct.

Described by UEFA as an "assault".

In this case the punishment is fully justified.

Clearly, he ain't no

Give over Booby. Any sensible fan knows he'll be missed in the group games, and any sensible fan knows he was stupid for kicking out like he did. But to cry about the stick he's getting is very hypocritical of you, considering your past comments about many players on many many sites under many many many different names.

Patriotism is the last refuge of the scoundrel.

(Inter)national football is boring - very boring - and not particularly competitive.

I don't want any MUFC footballers tarnishing themselves with lesser footballers and/or coaches at meaningless tournaments.

Rooney and all of us have (inadvertently) been done a huge favour.

Let's hope they find a reason to ban a few more MUFC players.

remember when he used to get away away with stamping on players. Well this is karma, because there was genuine remorse after 'bad' rooney took control of 'teh roon' and made him to bad things.

When he stamped on that player in the CL and UEFA did nothing, i knew this day would come.

In 2002 world Cup Thierry Henry deliberately and cycnically almost ended Dario Silva of Uruguays career with a despicable and dangerous two footed lunge. Henry was rightly and promptly sent-off and only given a one match ban.

Rooney simply just kicked a cynical Montengran player and for that he gets a three game ban whereas Henry almost ended a players career and gets away with just one game ban. What Wayne did was wrong and uncalled for and I will never condone what he did in the heat of the moment

What about nearly two years ago when Thierry Henry deliberately and cynically cheated Ireland out of the world cup and then went about smirking and lying about it. I cant recall him getting any punishment.

There is simply no consistency when it comes to other players and Wayne Rooney.

why are you even surprised at the reaction? 99.9% of england fans are ballbags. and this just gives the d.cks a ready-made scapegoat when they get panelled by someone like germany or spain next summer.
