Kamran, I've read your articles regarding Hernandez I mostly agree with your points that Hernandez can't dribble, pass or set another player up but when it comes to the pure purpose of putting something circular and round into the back of the net, not many come close to this guy

Darko, the only reason Hernandez scores a few goals here and there is because he plays for Man Utd. They're very direct, they put a lot of crosses in and they create a bag full of chances every game.

Imagine if he played for a passing team like Barca or Arsenal. He wouldn't score over 5 goals a season.

I'd take N'Gog over Hernandez.

We need a poacher and I'd jump at the chance to get Hernandez - he's the finisher we've missed since Ade scored 25 or so goals for us

N'Gog is actually pretty good as wel, just that LIverpool fans prefer Kuyt and shelvey and Henderson than trying to focus on more talented players with more potential like N'Gog, El Zhar and Leto.

You say not many people come close to Hernandez for scoring goals but 14 goals last year is hardly revolutionanary. Eventually Welbeck will start all the time above him, he is actually a good player

Honest to god I think I've got more talent than Hernandez. I'm a great finisher and my all round game is quite decent.

I would prefer RVP to Lolnandez and Badboyor, in fact I'd prefer him to Torres (although the latter has been good these past 3-4 games).

He can't really be any more deadly than he is at the moment. He is probably the best goal poacher in Europe right now and he is only 24 or something like that! Wish we had him.

He's awful, he scores loads of goals. For some reason Fergie likes these kind of players, all they do is score goals.

His link-up play with midfield, his off-ball intelligence and his strikers' instinct to be at right place at the right time, is just phenomenal from someone who only came from the Mexican league 15 months ago. Seriously, his progression has been phenomenal.

And he's very clinical as well. He still has other areas of where he can improve i.e. passing, competing for aerial balls and his shooting from distance, but he has to be one of the best one-on-one composed finishers in the league and for someone who only came into the PL last year, he has a decent first touch (much better than Bendtner's or Chamakh's, that's for sure!). Great reactions too, to leave the last defender stranded.

If Hernandez was at Arsenal, I have no doubt he would be second choice.

It's scary to ruminate over how good he is now and how could he could be in several more years working under SAF.

And the cherry on the Hernandez cake is that he works hard for the team.

His record speaks for itself, People doubting him are fooling themselves..
