Another £50-75m I'd say.
How many more articles do Utd fans need to write on our boards before they realise that none of us care?
Suarez - £22m
Carroll - £35m
Henderson - £16m
Total: £73m
That doesn't sound like £100m to me, and not forgetting to take away the £50m you clowns spent on Torres.

Which positions?
You obviously need a striker, winger, and new full backs
How much cash does chequebook Kenny need to spend to buy the title?
--------
Coming from a Chelsea fan... well this is just ridiculous
He has even copied United into the article just so he can suck up to them in the hope that they will back him.
Liverpool should really have gone for James mccarthy instead of henderson!
Liverpool needsome creativity in midfield someone to see a pass think mccarthy would have been perfect

How much more £ for Ken to buy the title?
=================================
Much less than what Fergie uses to buy each of the titles he won..
Is anyone else sick of wums on here? I hope in the future that mods stamp down on these guys, because this is why 606 got axed.
I think £125m should see a definite title challenge. next year
Suarez - £22m
Carroll - £35m
Henderson - £16m
Total: £73m
Torres - £50m
Babel - £6m
Total - £56m
It seems to me Liverpool have a net spent of £17m, which is very sensible compared to the £100m spent on Torres, Luiz, Ramieres and Benayoun!
Hypocrite!

Unlike other clubs we are not wasting money of Torres, Bebe, etc. We sell the old washed out players and replacing them with hungry young players.
Fine with that.
On average we have just spent £17m on players since the arrival of Kenny while the likes of Chelsea have spent of £70m
they wont even get into the europa league next season

This wumming is getting embrassing.

£100m should get you back into Europe next season.
But then again, Carol and handball were meant to do that
Speaking as a United fan, Dalglish looks like he's making some shrewd signings. Suarez and Carroll look the part, and Henderson could develop into a top player. The money's irrelevant. Benitez, Houlier and Souness spunked millions on mainly tosh (with honourable exceptions like Mascherano and Torres), so it's not like they're new to this big transfer fee malarkey.
Can't say I hope it works out for them, but I see the logic. If you're being picky you could argue they've overpaid here and there (boss, give me £55mill and I'll get you Carroll and Henderson! wtf????), but that's football these days.
I don't think yer average Chelsea fan likes other clubs splashing the cash, that they have a divine right to spend money and no one else does.

Thats rich, coming from a team who used to spend like it was going out of fashion in the 90s and 00s. breaking transfer records here, there, everywhere.
And before you pull on the "We earnt it so we can spend it" thread, How did you "earn" the money back in the 90s? (floatation money) Have Liverpool "earnt the money which they're spending now? No. Have Man City? No. Have Chelsea? No.
So lets not take the moral high ground. Especially not Utd fans.
I'll keep the moral high ground thanks... we spread the money about, and accept that other teams will too.
Nice thing is that most of them don't do it as well as us.
