And Modric captain? What a joke
I think you're being harsh on Pav, it's difficult to come into a game late on when it's end to end like that.
Trying to sort the table out

Knives on the right RRP. Ask Dawn if you're unsure
"a draw versus newcastle is never a very good result. unless we have about 8 men.
they are decent but look at the first goal they scored...
and since when does ameobi do that..?"
No Chronic, we can't excpect to win every bloody match mate, Newcastle are currently unbeaten and have the best defence in the league at the moment ( not sure now) ....so an away draw is a good result. Your just annoyed just like we all are that we didn't hold on but Newcastle were the better team on the day and a draw was a fair result. 1 point is better than 0 and we could of lost it at the end aswell as won it
have to say im not convinced with goalkeeper, should not of fallen in the goal for first goal as the guy messed it up and hit it straight at him
----------
This is nitpicking. Friedel has been a great addition to our squad and has been very solid this season. If you consider that a mistake it's nowhere near the type of mistake Gomes was regularly making. IMO to save that shot would have to have been a miraculous save.

Pav is only tolerated because of his circadian rhythm defect which means he scores lots of goals around the 90 min mark.

Will do just that!
First time they've conceded 2 at home and it could/should have been more today
I'm with spurtle on Friedel - the amount of confidence and stability he gives to the defence is invaluable.
If you're going to blame anyone for the first goal look as Bassong marking Kaboul

Sorry mate but i can't stand supporters like you at times, have to always pick out a scapegoat. Friedal is bloody solid and i feel confident every time the ball gets shot at him but he can't save everything. Gomes the Clown would of spilt half of those chances that Friedal held onto today.......I'm not saying Friedal is the answer for our future but he certainly is more than good enough to take us where we want to be this season. Next summer i agree we need a top class keeper but lay off Friedal man
It should have been the first time they lost n all.
...or Benny having a vacant moment
great thread as usual, well done
off to cook dinner for family and not sure if the beer is to celebrate or drown sorrows
nite
Just to let you all know out of the top 6 last year only city got 3 points at us.
