cldnt have done nothing about either goal,poor defending/communication for first goal,and the second, to borrow from the geordie film of the same name,PURELY BELTER......
and there was a situation in the first half,taylor excellent delivery and USA caught it on the bounce low down,with a forward bearing down on him.....

We always struggle at Newcastle we lost King after 30mins that was a massive boost for Newcastle as before that they never had a shot. Bale looked tired after two games for Wales, VDV was hopless. Livermore did well. In addition, we could have done with Lennon in the last 15 on the break. If we beat Blackburn it's a great point. We must win our next three home games last season these home games cost us.
definitely a good result. decent performance too. we robbed loads of rope points last season, and lost to much worse teams than newcastle.
a win would have been amazing, but no problem at all with a draw.
