whats the point of England continuing to play ODI cricket anyway?
They always seem to get thrashed.ODI has become an embarrasment to England.
I think they should flood in more and more English cricketer with PIO(person of Indian Origin) in their team.Ravi and samit is not enough.lets start with Monty.

Another myth, England won the ODI series in Australia on the tour they lost the Ashes 5-0. They struggle in India because the bowlers can't adapt.

"Why are England so poor in ODIs in India?"

Because they can not milk the spinners. They get bogged down, realise that they are behind the required run rate, slow, get caught in the deep and the cycle starts all over again with the new batsman.

England need to learn how to get 5 runs an over from a spinners WITHOUT taking risks. If you really think about this, when the spinners are bowling, there are usually only four fielders in the 30 yard circle, so why is it so hard for them to hit the gaps 5 out of 6 times?

I will write an article on this tomorrow.
