Try talking about NFFC as this is a Forest forum and what we can and can't acheive!
he is very entertaining. Even beginning to sound like Billy Davies in some of his comments
Insults again. Without a youth policy we would owe ND a lot more than we actually do. Or, if he hadn't given the extra cash made from sales like JJ and Reid we would still owe money on the Trent end, and probably be in League 2. You really don't have a clue.
Here's sixpence go and buy some sweets
Webbo at least I know how to look at the bigger picture!
I never said you shouldn't have a good youth policy, just don't expect it to get u into Premiership!
Make you mind up do u wanna be Manu or Crew A?
Thanks I'll save the money tho, not spend it!

You don't have to be Crewe or Man Utd. You have to work within your means. Raise cash in the most economical way.
I personally wouldn't want us be Man U and owe 750M or whatever it is nowadays unless you can get income to support it.
I wouldn't want to be Crewe as they will always sell on their best up and coming youngsters to keep their club going and only realistically achieving Championship status at best.
However, look at Stoke, Wigan and even the likes of Bradford City in the past. Maybe, Watford or Luton. Without youth policies in place when they were and are in the top flight they would be stuffed. Yes, Wigan had a benefactor that got them there etc etc.
Now.... cast your mind back, or if you are too young to do so, read a book and find out where John Robertson, Viv Anderson and Martin O'neill started their career when we were second flight football team in the 70's
Yep, youth will get you nowhere
strett, I could of offered half a crown
Webbo it is 2011, u do know that?
Yep... and a lot of clubs are beginning to realise it too. Football in this country is not far off imploding.
Trust me. A lot of clubs are going to be relying on youth when the FFP comes in
And ur point, I never said don't have a good youth policy, I did say and stand by, it won't get u promoted 2 the Premiership!
I love they people have to go off in tangents to prove points, that I never in said I was against!
Thanks
And my point is that it will help if you are not backed by a billionaire

AS, here you go with the black or white stuff again. BD's biggest problem was that you had to buy him the best players to succeed. If that's what he needs then what makes him better than any other bloke who's getting the best players bought for him? Can you not spend wisely AND bring 1 or 2 players through.
It's not either/or every time! I could've got us promoted if we'd bought Pratley, Victor Moses and Shorey, why do we have to pay Davies or McClaren millions to do that? If nothing else I'm glad we've got someone in who is trying to do some actual managing.
Webbo my dear friend I thought when FFS comes into effect having a billionaire owner won't help!
Make ur mind up on these things could you!
Lloyd of cause having them players you mentioned wouldn't have guaranteed us promotion, but it might have and if it didn't BD would have deserved to have been sacked!
Well it's been a blast, thanks for the banter even if u do frustrate me!
Let's hope SC gets off to a winning start!
COYR!
