The PLC are are not vindictive enough (unless they eventually got the true nature of the Newham bid finances from the FOI request - denial of which led to the Newham setting themselves up for the first JR ) .

Perhaps you have have the full details of the Newham intended financing (could have saved a lot of aggro for the Spanners if you had just posted it on 606 ) ...

Why would we need a JR? The decision has been scraped.

Justifying the unjustifiable. Greedy opportunists. To those of you who said Tottenham were pursuing the JR solely to get back their money, what do you say now? Why have they withdrawn their bid? It was nothing more than a desperate delaying tactic.

If Leyton Orient want to bid for the OS, then I have no problem with that. I don't think they'll get it due to their size, but at least they're an east London club after an east London stadium.
As opposed to opportunist north London vultures.

The JR, in the absence of the Newham financing details (attempted procrastination by Newham on the FOI request) , would have exposed every last detail of it to the public.

If twas the utter joke suspected, then public focus would be on the OS bid panel who deemed such financing as respectable.

And led the way into scrutiny of the other criteria by which the Newham bid got a 14-0 vote (quite possible their bid got a "nil" vote on the financing by every panel member - but then re the stuff geniusgreaves posted the other week on the nature/weighting of the other criteria - and the "goal posts moved" etc) .

messia :

He had to post here, because :

1. he has filtered most people

2. Mich comments on his articles (who EVERYONE sane on 606 filters)

3. they cannot keep the content respectable enough for articles on their OWN board before the Admins bin it.

Myhammers,

Why don't you defect to the Chávs over in West London, they could do with some help to shift their General Sale season tickets, and then you can watch us more, such is your obsession

Leyton Orient have submitted an application to the Football League for permission to move into the 2012 Olympic Stadium after the Games. O's chairman Barry Hearn said: "We are asking for a 25,000-seat stadium and we want to see if we can get around the athletics track. It has to stay, we know that. But can we build up, if not down, and see if it's possible to get it covered while we play?"

"We have submitted an application for permission to move to the Football League, and that permission is something that West Ham don't yet have.

"It was the Premier League who gave them the green light to move in their original plan, but they are no longer members of the Premier League.

"The rules are that the Football League would not sanction a club moving closer to another club if it affects the business of that other club, and there's no doubt that West Ham moving there would affect us.

"West Ham can't just assume that they will be in the Premier League by then. How, therefore, can the Olympic Park Legacy Company, whose job it is to decide who takes over the stadium, allow West Ham to remain in the bidding process? We want them thrown out because they don't have permission from the relevant authority - the Football League."

What next for the Brady Bunch?
