Law of averages says we will at some point, but your right, no team has come close yet !

i told you last week we won't drop out of the top 2 this season . I stand by that and am so sure we won't if we did I'll eat my season ticke.

its how we are winning with ease which impresses me..no team to date has been close and i think yesterdays opp was about as gud as it gets...the only way we will lose a game is if we become complacent..and i think this will be clarcks biggest challenge..keeping em up for it!!...

as and when we lose a game, it will be from getting too comfortable...the concentration will go and we will get seriously sloppy across the back..

3-0 with 20 odd minutes to go is not "game over" start "p-ssing about"...

said it loads of times we play better in their half, get the ball forward and if required "hold it up" as far away from our goal as possible, better still try and score again..

Lee and Rhodes - if they can stay fit - will walk us to the title this season. Novak does the work for Rhodes well when he plays alongside him, but he doesn't quite have the experience that Big Al has. Rhodes is a predator and will always be in the right place at the right time, but he does lack strength and experience, and Big Al up front with him allows him to just doe whatever he feels like doing. Al wins the flick ons, wins the free kicks, and just makes himself a nuisance for defenders, which means Rhodes is often awarded too much time and space by the opposition, and right now if he gets a chance he'll put it in. Here's hoping they stay fit because a long-term injury to either would be horrendous for us.

Damien Johnson is still improving at his age, it's ridiculous how much of an impact he has on the team, he's so much better than Kilbane. He makes life easier for everyone else in the midfield, just like Alan does for whoever he plays up front with. He does the things only someone with his experience and knowledge can do, and allows everyone else just to go about their own game without worrying about the things Damien does. He's quite possible the best disciplined player I've ever seen in a Town shirt and deserves massive amounts of credit.

Finally, I have to give massive amounts of credit to Scotty Arfield. Rhodes and Lee are playing well, as is Johnson, as is Hunt, Bennett has been immense again so far - but Scotty Arfield has been our player of the season so far by a country mile. The whole formation hinges on him being able to link up well with Hunt to provide our best attacking threat (look how many goals come from them 2) and being able to cover for Hunt who is defensively our biggest liability. He does both brilliantly and his work rate is better than anyone else in the team bar Novak. Not only does he allow us to benefit from Hunts attacking ability by being disciplined enough to sit when he needs to, but he is also the integral piece of the puzzle which makes our current 4-4-2 formation so successful. People are saying Hunt and Rhodes could be in line for big moves in January, but I would be massively surprised if we aren't getting inquiries for him as well, and if the Scottish FA are watching Rhodes they must surely have noticed Arfields performances as well.

How long before Elsie is resting big Al and Jordan for 'lesser' matches ? Cads needs some game time at some point because he's our only other striker and will no doubt be needed sometime during the season.

Rhodes played a full 90 minutes on saturday, and I'm sure he'll get an hor on tuesday, but will he be rested at bottom club yeovil ?

We have a big squad, and apart from a bit of experimenting earlier this season Elsie hasn't done much rotation yet has he..Thankfully we are out of the two tin pot cups so we won't (hopefully)be playing 61 games again this season..

you play your best team in the next game, to win that game..the game after that only becomes important when its the next game..
we are not in europe and the squad is used to replace players who are injured/suspended if you are winning games.. its only used to "rest" players who are out of form or to change formations/tactics that are not working.. that does not apply at this time.. as i said my only unenforced change would be robinson for miller, who looked very tired on saturday..

I still think Miller will start on Tuesday! Is G'bern injured at the min, or just not getting a sniff at the Mo
