TopLad I haven't played with any of Torres, Van Persie or Tevez that much but I'd say Torres usually plays best for me.

On a side note the 88 IF Van Persie looks immense but costs about 400k!

I dont really understand the craze behind IF players. One example is a 78 IF Taylor is currently going for 45k. You can get Evra or Cole (85) for 12-15k! Same for Ba. He seems to be going for the same as a Torres, RVP or Aguero, despite still only being 82 IF. Madness.

Tony_jeff, it's because of the ingame stats that you see. Not the overall rating.
The in game stats must be crazy on Taylor and Ba.
Ba's strength must be like 90+

Tony_jeff has a point. IF players are luxury players, you'd have to be pretty poor to feel that your team NEEDS IF players in abundance.

I've only ever owned 1 IF in fifa 11 (Mvuemba) and 1 in fifa 12 (Gameiro)

Was playing today and lost twice out of 20+ games, most of which the opponent quit.

1) Had this guy 2-0 and he beat me 3-2 thanks to me playing my slower defenders against his pacy strikers, in addition they seemed more interested in marking my teammates and passing to the opposition than anything else

2) After I handed out a 8-0 whupping to a 3.5 star team with my 2 star I got arrogant and decided to take on a 4 star all gold team, only to be thrashed 6-2(Guy had Abonglahor and Campbell up front)

You forget that I'm rubbish.

Actually, I'm slightly better than average these days, and certainly win more than I lose (although my stats are skewered by the fact I was rubbish for the first couple of weeks I had the game and kept getting thumped). I have in the last couple of days had a 10-2 and 8-3 wins which was good fun for me (the 8-3 was with my substitutes!).

The worst thing about the awesome team guy was that it was in the final of the gold cup tournament thing so it cost me 1900 coins to lose that match.

Well you can try again...what I do is that I don't play anyone who has joined before me in those tourneys, because usually they would be privvy to all the little tricks I play with and I would find it harder to beat them. I do wonder how on earth that guy got all those awesome players though

Honestly, I think even his entire bench would get a game for me (maybe not his GK as I now have an 85 and 84 GK in my squad).

If I remember right beside the three he brought on he also had Lampard and Gerrard on his bench.

Well tbh I had plenty coins and could have had a better Gold team but I love my bronze team so much so set out to buy all the best bronze players.
