I wouldn't go so far as 'good'....
It's decent enough for me, only have 1 hour of work today.
---------------------------------------------
I very nearly didn't have any. I'm still wondering why i'm here.... feeling rough
Go hoooooome

trust me, if i got sick pay i wouldn't be here, but i don't want to waste a day's holiday.
going on strike would also have to be covered by holiday
I used to work for the local council before this job (but wasn't in the union)..... the union wen't on strike because they wanted a 1.6% payrise and the council only offered 1.2%.... while wiling away the day in my nice warm office, with all my colleagues standing outside in the cold, i worked out that in order to recoup the 2 days pay they lost while on strike they would have to work 3 years at the higher rate they were trying to get.
all a little pointless really.
god, i hate unions!
oh, and the other thing i worked out was that those who were out on strike would be on over and above the 1.6% rise if the stopped paying their union fees.
