Simple fact of the matter is that if the water companies sorted their lives out and fixed some of the long term leaks, there wouldn't be water shortages.
For example, all winter at the top of the road i work on (right on a junction) there was a leak which froze over in every bit of bad weather, meaning not only was water being wasted at a huge rate, but also right on a 90 degree bend was an perpetual patch of ice. they finally fixed it last week.

There is no drought in Wales.

I'm concerned about how this could affect the wet t-shirt contest industry

Tommy Yes, looks like the conversation was going to get a bit risque. It's stopped raining here

Rap, - weeeellll, I don't think there will be any significant impact due to the hose pipe ban. There is enough of the wet stuff dropping of the sky, so the events would have to be transferred outside. Also, buckets could be used instead
personally i think the wet tshirt business will move to using bottled water. It may mean profit levels aren't quite as high though.
Did you see my post in the early hours about that other site <spit> ? I am going to take the 'go forth and multiply' option - I wish I had never registered - can you unsubscribe?

Then after about an hour of going back and posting, i started getting inbox's off the mods on the Arsenal board slating my contribution to the site! Telling me there are other options if im dedicated to being a @#%& at all times lol
Some people just don't know good posting!
Can you bypass the hose pipe ban by merely using a bucket?
===================
you would need a lot of buckets though to get as much as you would from your hosepipe.
