anyway AFL - it sounds to me like you have inward confidence, but arent in a position to project that at the moment. in that case id say your option is to start by trying to talk to her as mates. dont worry too much what she thinks of you, just think of what you are getting out of it. you need to develop the moutward confidence before trying to go straight in on a flirty basis.
that's what i'd say, but then wtf do i know ?
JPB - That is how I have to think, if I don't, I just feel like I've chickened out. The aim is to get in conversations with her, without looking like I'm stalking her, which is what I'm concerned about.
She's running for head girl at my sixth-form. So I might put in a vote for her, and if she wins then I'll await my prize (hopefully).

Just talk about 6th form. It's a common ground you both share. And then sneakily sneak a couple of fingers in

she's going to notice that AC.
im liking the curriculm chats. maybe you could start with something mundane like maths, and move through the curriculum steadily though until you get to pottery, which is likely to involve a bit more emotion, and even some hand actions of one sort or another. yes, definitely take up pottery. try to convince her to do the pottery with you.

AFL - dont listen to these guys, im telling you, pottery is the way to this girl's heart
I agree with Ruiney. Make her laugh and you're doing well.
Laughing gas the way to go
yeah, but make her laugh about pottery if you can
Pottery
I've always been known as a funny guy, so making her laugh should not be too hard.
My main worry is about looking like someone who is obsessed with her (which I must stress, that I'm not).
The more you stress the less believable it becomes.
girls like willys, show her yours
I've never done pottery before. You know that you guys are liked the 5th different bunch of people that I've talked about this girl to. In a way, I wish that somehow, we got locked in a room or something similar with just the two of us in there. That would be great.

that is true actually.
I would call it taking an interest in her.
Digby, I'm not sure how she'll react if I was to do that to be honest.
