Hollyoaks has an unrealistic amount of hotties.

I may complain.

Depends what I'm doing Andy. Got some 17.5kg dumbells which I use for strength so 4-8 reps but when I was at the gym regular I only used to bicep curl at the end of a back workout. I'd do seated curls (lying back on an inclined bench) with about 14 kg and then using a 25kg barbell do slow curls, 8 seconds up and 8 seconds down for 8 reps.

How come?

I can deal with that

Erm depends on what equipment your gym has really and what part of your back you want to work.

In general I would do something like:

Always start with a set of wide grip pulls up, 1 set of close grip and then 1 set of reverse grip(even if you can only do 3/4, just to build strength and warm your your back up). Then straight on to lat pull downs.. again changing up the grip after a couple of sets.

Bent over rows. Occasionally deadlifts.. but then most importantly one armed seated rows. Focussing on the lowering movement of the exercise. So pull the bar out to your side as usual, then return it to it's starting position at a pace of about 8 seconds.
