Now, once you have digested that, does anyone then want to discuss whether that distorts the reality, and we should review the 113m total figure wrt staff categorisation (players, admin etc) ...

118m and average of nearly 286,000 quid (what's 12K eh, lose that down the back of the sofa every few days ) .

Personally as a Man City Fan. I am over the moon about the increase in money to the club, however I cant justify are clubs wage bill. We have the money to do it, so why not? Means we win trophies and play some of the best football in the PL.

City employ 500 full time staff and the numbers rise to nearly 1,100 on matchdays. Perhaps they are all on minimum wage and the rest is shared out amongst the players.

If that is the market rate for all your admin staff etc, then that is what you have to pay.

Silva, Aguero and Dzeko are reported to be on £130K a week, double what they got at their prvious clubs. There are comparable players to Dzeko and Kun at other clubs who are paid substantially more.

David Silva is beyond compare and we're practically mugging him when you look at his contribution since he joined us.

Whatever you are paying David Silva, in comparison to the likes of Messi and Ronaldo, it probably is well below market value

Silva is one of the players I would pay big money to watch live. Probably in the top 5 players in the world for me and a decent guy to boot

Perhaps the "football" / "admin" stuff ratio is closer to 1:1, and 60 odd million goes on the latter.

I would much rather pay the money than end up being a bitter small club like Spudz

I will say this, the plans for around the stadium look pretty special

City will be at the top for a while, as much as we give City and the fans some stick, they will be around for a long time
