Adebayor is also cleverer on the ball than people give him credit for. He sprays passes out wide, got Walker motoring for the first goal, and he has excellent awareness and footwork as shown by the Defoe assist.

hes so great that he has a country all to himself.
are Toga a new country then Thuddy? never heard of them myself
Adebayor didn't have the greatest of games yesterday but still was involved with 2 of the goals and directly setting up 1. He offers so much to the team and we need to buy him on a permanent. I was at the cottage yesterday and i loved how Adebayor stood on the boardings arms out stretched to the spurs fans when Defoe scored......He's in a happy place at the mo with spurs
This is simple. For every Spurs striker X, there is bad X, and good X.
Good X scores for fun. Bad X is questionable.
So far this season, I have seen bad Ade.
Bad Ade has held up the ball, linked up with other players in attack (VDV etc) . And got assists.
What has bad Pav done when he is bad ??
THudd, what you saying fam?
On a serious note, Pav's a decent lad. I don't think it's fair that you guys have treated a loyal player in such way. I mean, the guy has never consistently complained about featuring as a sub or even being left out of the squad.
If any Spurs player deserves negative criticism it should be Keane to be honest. I've met him in person and I must say he's the only player who has treated me with lack of respect.
I'm above you all, so Keane speaking to me in such way has had an impact on my superiority. But I'll recover from it and shine like MafiaBoy.

PAV IS A WUM
I wouldn't say he's been in the best form, but he does work hard for the team. I remember him making an important headed clearance from the back yesterday. Always good seeing that from a forward. Needs to be more clinical in front of goal though. Definitely an upgrade on Pav and Crouch.

At meerkat imitations.
Pav is only good for association threads that G&S usually does.

To put it simply Pav does not engage his brain when playing...having said that Ade gave the ball away a couple of times yesterday, which annoyed me....given the choice Ade wins hands down every day of the week...
defoe is really pushing for a starting place at the moment. the trouble is how to accomodate him.
"defoe is really pushing for a starting place at the moment"
Don't think so.
He does deserve at least a 2nd half run out (and not a paltry 10 mins etc) .

He sprays passes out wide, got Walker motoring for the first goal
===========================
That pass was as good as you'll see. Who would have thought a "target man" could make that kind of ball?
Ade has been far from his best form but has 3 goals and 5 assists in 8 games.
Adebayor's work rate yesterday was tremendous, three times I saw him run past VDV to close down the man VDV should of being closing. In addition, he has been involved in about 80% of our goals since he's been here. What a player but I still feel Crouch is miles better.
