Lukaku on loan would work for me.

Might as well spit in someone's face and call them a nasty name, then!

They need him.

David Luiz may be funny but he's a complete clown as a defender!

Rhys Williams and Nedum Onouha have been mentioned in the past as possible replacements.

We will be bidding for him & most likely get him

wasted at Bolton now if he's serious about a career

Yeah, totally wasted at Bolton. He was an England International before he came here. Now he's nothing.

Sheriff was just kidding, we like Bolton

I have a feeling there maybe more than Chelsea sniffing around.

When the time comes and he looks to progress his career and cement his england place, then yes a move to Chelsea would be a good for him.

He will certainly get my best wishes.

who would Gaz's replacement be?
****
We already have him ...He brought Wheater in, expecting Cahill to go around that time he signed him. It's ' who will Knight's replacement be ' that I'm wonderin' about! If we get an offer of 8m for Cahill, PG should deliver him personally for that sort of cash, as he's worth zilch a few months later ...

Seeing as Terry's possibly in line for a lengthy ban and he's more or less a busted flush anyway, then I'd say they need him enough to bid that much.

No brainer for me if they do.

I can see Terry getting a 3 match ban at the very most.

I wonder what Cahill's preference would be, given a choice? If he's settled in the North West, he might want to go to MU, rather than to any London club? That could be bad news for us, because if MU tell him they'll definitely sign him at the end of the season (when he's on a free) then the London clubs could bid 8,10,12 mill and he could refuse to go!

If the club were willing to treble/quadruple his wages he would move to Tranmere and kiss the badge.

I can hardly blame him!

David Luiz is our 2nd best defender after Terry.

Mceachran is good for creativity but Muamba and NRC offer you STrengh and steel, and Mceachran is a bit light.

I can see Lukaku going. He is proberbly better than KD but he dosen't ave the experience

If I have a 'favourite' out of the big clubs in the PL, it's definitely Chelsea.

Will never forget the way their fans willed us to score at Stamford Bridge on the last day of the season in 1998, when we needed a goal to survive. Will never forget Jody Morris not celebrating his goal. They also treated Eidur and Nico well.

So even though they always bend us over and give us twelve inches up the back passage on the park, Chelsea for me.

You might be right there! But he'd still end up a multi-millionaire if he signed for MU, and without having to uproot his family etc.

Confession: I was a Chelsea fan from the age of 7 to 10 (back in the good 'ole days, when football was a sport first, rather than a business ..) They weren't the best team in the league, but they played the best football for sure Then my dad (who wasn't a football fan at all) took me to Burnden Park ...and it was ' bye, bye Charlie Cooke, hello Johnny Byrom! '

I remember that afternoon very well, largehat. I lived just South of the river in Putney back then so it was a short journey for me. Their fans were amazing that day and a few Chelsea mates insisted on buying my beer for the rest of the night. A sad day made better
by some true footy fans.
