Nobody but you mentioned Larsson...

Harry only you and your ilk think Gazza wasnt a legend. You're entitled to your opinion. The vast majority of Rangers fans believe he was one of the most talented players ever to wear the jersey. Where you agree or not is irrelevant

Was he trying to sell yet another book with it comin up to Christmas an all. And what does Piers Morgan Know about Football proclaiming him to have been the greatest Footballer in the World. He wants to keep his nose out and get back to America .

esctosh

This is a place for debate, the OP stated a FACT as he see's it.

Our ilk disagree.

If you don't think he's a legendary footballer, you are a complete idiot. Of that there is absolutely no debate.

A questionable character off the field with issues hopefully none of us will ever need to live with. But as gifted a player as Britain has ever produced and a true footballing genius and icon.

If you dispute that, you are a fool

Yep exactly mate

A superstar of the game, still idolised up and down the country by so many.

Sad to see the shell his problems have led him to become. Hopefully he gets himself back on track but either way the guy was/is a footballing icon and that will never change.

Dos, Papa

In the mould of Georgie Best. A legend on the field but a disasterous lifestyle off it.

You're just getting ridiculousness now esc.

Agree 100% Dos. Off the field he has more baggage than most.

On it no one can deny his ability is as good as this country has seen.

A bit of an enigma maybe but nobody can deny he is an icon of the game. It's not even up for debate. The days watching him were the best I've ever had at Ibrox.

Harry,

yer makin a kant of yersel again. The only top club Best played for was Man U (and Hibs ). He was undoubtedly a legend and a world class player

Gazza played at a top European club Lazio. Having already played at two top clubs in England Spurs & Newcastle. He was part of the England team that was a gnat's from the WC final in 1990 being instrumental in their success.

We realise you have a serious dislike of him because of the success Rangers enjoyed during his time there. But take the blinkers off pal. It's embarassing

Papa....100% correct, at least you saw him play. Top player, flawed human being.

I don't think any1 can deny that the guy had his "diffficulties" off the park , and last nights show highlighted that however his work on the park seen him take legend status and become a true great ger - just think of how good he would be without all the booze and off field probs :o

apart fae when he scored the peach for england against us, agreed

posted on 13/11/11

He was a gers legend, and im sure many newcastle, spurs and england fans would call him a legend too. even with all his injury troubles over in italy the lazio fans loved him because of how good a player he was.

Some of u wont agree, but on pure footballing ability only, i would rank him up there with some of the best players i have ever seen. It was a shame he made THAT tackle when with spurs as he could have been one of the greats.

might not be a legend to some, but we can at least all agree he was a genius with a ball at his feet

"Gazza played at a top European club Lazio."

Even though they had never won a European trophy or a title for over 20 years when he signed for them.

Yer an old gibbering wreck esctosh.

I think Gazza's problem was he never really had to face up to his wrong doings!! He could basically do what he wanted and the English still loved him due to his fantastic talent.

I can see the same thing happening with Wayne Rooney, he's the new daft boy that cant do anything wrong.

After seeing Gazza last night, its my opinion that there wont be a happy ending. Hope im wrong tho.
