The funny thing is I grew up with West Ham ST's and they always pined for Chelsea more than any other team, prob cos we were nicking their best players and also they lived around so many Chelsea fans.

as for derbies. every derby is big if you are a fan of the club.
watford v luton looks like a waste of time to everyone but those two hate each other.
for spurs the big games are arsenal and chelsea,
and i suppose west ham, as they are incredibly annoying. hopefully we wont be playing them for a while.
before you ask sadly my MD at the time was a hammers fan.
Only Chelsea fans over 30 appreciate it

I'm over 30 and didn't even know there was a rivallry. QPR/Fulham mean little to me. I used to go to Fulham when CFC were away, as a kid. Must be some deluded pillocks out there looking for a bit of attention.
i went to west ham vs millwall cup game 2009, i was in a corporate box it it kicked off big time in and out the stadium.
---------
yeah i remember that.. but it was pretty much a one off.. unless someone can give me other examples...
back in the day it kicked off big style between spurs and chelsea.. but unless something happens on a consistent basis then its just something that happens now and again.
there was a fair amount of trouble at spurs v leeds outside the ground a couple of years ago in the fa cup, and then again up at leeds in the replay, but those things happen.
fulham look like the type of club who's supporters are the kind who just walk round museums in their spare time and shop at waitrose. Sweeping generalisation considering i went to waitrose yday
lol fulham. theyre a rowdy bunch aye lol.
thats the only time i've been to west ham millwall game so i wouldn't know to be honest, but i hear theres always a chance it could kick off, just needs a spark.
west ham smashed up one of our pubs a while ago

Prankster i was born in newcastle both parents glasgow and grandparents irish. I'm destined for an alcohol filled life!
25 is a nice age.
I went to Newcastle to work for the weekend and everybody was drunk, even all the birds. There wasn't any football on, only the horse racing.

I despise West Ham fans, they stabbed a Chelsea fan last season and we all have to go to Stratford because of it, took me 3 hours to get home in what would have ordinarily been a 45 minute journey (assuming District Line was running properly)
Don't get me wrong I don't losing to any team or any London team but I feel sick for a week when we lose to Arsenal, Spurs or West Ham.
The thing is with derbies is they carry so much significance in terms of mood of fans, attendances and team spirit etc.
Most Arsenal fans I know were ready to write off their chances of top 4 when they lost to Spurs.
When we lost 5-3 to Arsenal the mood of the fans changed, we went from thinking we had an outside shot of winning the league to thinking we'd be lucky to finish 4th. A few minutes after the Arsenal loss I was ready to declare us 4th at best and even 5th at one point.
Look at how Sunderland's season changed after the Newcastle loss, when they got a credible draw at Anfield.
People underestimate derbies, to the fans and supporters (local ones) they mean everything, more than beating Liverpool or United to rub it in your gloryhunting mates faces
Where were you working?
I was in a hotel in Jesmond and the racing "can't think of the name" was on. It was madness. I worked right in the centre of Newcastle, in a large solicitors office, right near all the shops.
no cause then me plans for after the celebrity show will be in tatters
