What annoys me about mw3

Plenty of things annoying me in this game, for one..the maps are rubbish, secondly the spawning is terrible....I kill a guy only for him to spawn right behind me and take me out, sometimes your spawned right under a predator missile .

You get killed waaaay to fast with any gun from pretty much any range and the recovery time is sooo slow.

Finally...quick scoping . What the hell was IW thinking, listening to the little kiddies because they love that, then the slap the 18 certificate on the game as well. If you’re going to listen to kids, give it a 3+ certificate fools as its clear that’s the audience your aiming for with the stupid gimmicks and what not.

The only positive is the 'Kill confirmed' gametype which is actually really fun. Other than that...I'm disappointed with the game.

Another thing that annoys me is I shoot someone in the distance and they manage to run away.

I get shot and even when I just manage to get round the corner on my screen, I still manage to get killed.

QUICKSCOPING=EPIC FAIL!!!!!!!!

THE AMOUNT OF KILL STREAKS I HAVE LOST TO QUICK SCOPING! ARRRRGH!!

posted on 15/11/11

quick scoping, while wrong, clearly it isn't physically possible to use a 15 kilo, 4ft long sniper rifle as an assault rifle, is no different to dying with any other weapon.

other than that, check your killcams.... i bet you're having the same issue as me... the enemy sees you way before you see them. the game seems to be optimised for really fast internet. I'm well above average, yet always seem to have seen the enemy a second after they've seen me when i watch the killcams.

Exactly...I know CoD is an arcade style shooter so its not supposed to be so realistic, but still its physically impossible to run around like your carrying an SMG and aim down the sight so quick. Snipers should get the same handicap as the LMG users get, slower movement and only be able to aim down sight really quick is when your prone, not using a sniper like its an SMG.

To the OP, that will teach you to set up camp won't it!

Why not try playing the game properly!

no oog

I dont camp. I like to run and gun but when you get so far ahead and the rest of your team die and spawn on the otherside of the map, you are therefore alone. What I tend to do in those sitautions is hold position until my team catch up with me.

When I try to run away I just get shot in the back anyhow.

personally i don't spend a lot of time with my team, i'm usually silenced and invisible to the enemy, so being with the team just gives my position away.

At the start of rounds I usually wait to see which way most of the team goes and then go another way.

I dont even play the game.

that's a great tactic for not getting shot.... but you won't get many kills either.

Sorry game boys, I just had to nip over here to find out what kind of person this spokesman bloke is following a wum article on the Chelsea board

You want to discuss serious things such as racism in football, and yet here you are camped out in an imaginary field, with an imaginary gun, being shot at by imaginary people.

The answer is spelled with a capital "L" in your case

most people are moaning that there aren't imaginary fields, just imaginary cities

You seem to have some issues regarding gaming. One can assume you only ever watch documentaries on tv, not imaginary stories about imaginary people in films etc

I watch very little TV at all mate,I work, I cook, I go out, I meet up with friends, and occasionally I watch an episode of something like frozen planet, or the deadliest catch, or the new series Coal.

I am sure it is an age thing, but why would you want to sit alone in a room, when you can be in a room full of people you like (We used to call them Pubs, now they are bars)

why would you assume everyone who plays games doesn't do the same? I regularly have people over, we watch movies, have a few drinks, and if the mood takes us we go splitscreen or round for round on a game of some description.

you seem to be of the opinion that everyone who plays games sits around in their pants surrounded by rubbish. only some of us do that

I do!

With the curtains drawn and pizza boxes strewn all over the place.

Nothing wrong with gaming or online gaming and shooting imaginary things. There are things like party chat, adding friends and speaking to them over the mic you know. Just like smart phones and social websites, online gaming is very popular these days.

It just seems a very insular thing to do

It's like this facebook thing, people have "Friends" they have never met, you are not their friend, you are their stalker

When you say issues, what do you mean ??

Just because someone doesn't have the same likes and dislikes as you, means they have "Issues" ??

To me it means they are different

You do seem a little anti the modern world, but i wouldn't go so far as saying you have issues (other than with gamers).

Getting back to the subject at hand, the lag issues seemed a lot less severe last night, almost as it was on MW2. that's the main thing that bugged me seemingly sorted

Dont be ageist, I have a mobile phone I'll have you know, and an interweb in my house

I have no problem with modern technology fella, I just find it difficult to understand why people would sooner do stuff on their own, than with mates

ageist? i'm 35 myself mate!

I don't have a facebook account, i did in the past but closed it down a while back.

As i tried to explain yesterday, gaming isn't necessarily a solo thing. With online gaming virtually every game gives you the option to play private matches vs friends for example. in this way i get to interact with some old mates that have moved away for work etc in other ways than just talking to them on the phone.

A few days ago I played poker with 9 mates, only 4 of them still live in this country, so without online gaming we would never have had the chance to still play each other as we used to. of course it's not the same as live, but it's better than nothing.

yes, to some people these social networks/online gaming constitutes their entire social life, but they are by far the minority. to most people they are simply an extension of it, as well as a way to organise nights out etc.
