Bayern Munich think they've got a deep squad, but even North Korea's is DPR.

Measure them on the yard-stick of Premier League football, away to Stoke on a wet and windy Tuesday night in December.

Rudi Völler, Jürgen Klinsmann, Gerd Müller all disagree with you.

That is 3 people. The whole german football history is not just 3 people!

Stoke are overrated imo. I don't think they'd finish above 2nd in the Bundesliga.

Isn't the German League supposed to be the closest match to the PL?

Bayern are class why mock a team with that much success, I think they would adapt and prosper in this hypothetical thread!

No, that would be the Championship. BL might come a distant 5th behind the SPL and the Icelandic Premier.

Well, others spend their days mocking a team in the other half of town which is pretty successfu.

Anyway, I suppose Bayern might cope at home, but I doubt they've got the mental strength to hack it with the passionate crowds we have in England, the atmosphere at OT, the Emirates, Etihad etc.

And that's the last I have to say to you until my Creedence tapes turn up.

I very much doubt they'd be above Liverpool.

german atmospheres are better than englands and they would be challenging for the title without a doubt with neuer lahm schweini, kroos, robben, ribery, muller gomez they have real quality however they do have a dodgy defence dont think boateng and badstuber are good enough and van buyten

i think we should ask this question again after they play city at the Etihad. If they come away unbeaten (possibly knocking City out of the champs league at the same time) then I think we can say they are as good as anything the premier league has to offer.

We've dealt with Gomez, Lahm and Gomez already on this thread.

As for the others, Kroos can't cross, Ribery would take too long before he's allowed out of quarantine in between games and Robben would do his ankle on the aeroplane steps each time. As for Neuer, what's he got that English goalies haven't?

Siemprerojo, one game won't prove anything, they're just lucky it's City's first season.

youve dealt with gomez twice? and kroos isnt a winger

He should change his name then, shouldn't he?

The second Gomez is Bastian G. Schweinsteiger, or what did you think the G. stood for?
