I played on a northern league 3g pitch and it is great to play on. Ball doesn't bobble at all. Sliding cuts you open a bit but i think it'd probably be better than a few of the dodgy pitches. Means less games off as well

It would help in the winter to stop so many games called off.
Not ideal, but artificial pitches are better than when the likes of Luton used them in the 80s.

the past is the past for a reason. We are the dominant force in the PL, that's what matters.
Considering the condition of most of the lower league pitches it probably wouldn't be such a bad idea. I've watched lots of lower league games which result in blasting the ball as high as possible and then it just turns into a game of Rugby wondering where the ball will bounce.
In the long run it will be cheaper so it's probably not a bad idea.
The modern day artificial pitches are much better quality now so I think it's not a bad idea. Just as long as we dont go back to the days of Luton Town.
Artificial pitches have come a long way since the days of Luton Town's skin shredder (my local footy club have a patch of Luton's old pitch on a wall plaque, and just brushing your hand against it hurts!).
I first played on 3rd Generation at uni in Sheffield and a few places in Bedford now have it, and it's fantastic stuff. It doesn't hurt to fall on any more than a frozen or dry pitch, the ball bounces perfectly normally, it doesn't ache the joints to run around on it and it easily takes moulded boots. It's not too fast to play on like water or sand-based astroturf, but at the same time you can move the ball around smoothly because it's so flat.
One of the reasons I jacked in Sunday football was because of the shoddy pitches I was having to play on; when you've had a taste of 3rd Generation it's hard to put up with anything less.
