We lost at home to them last year when they were really really sh-t!
Excuse me for having some concerns
last season, not last year!
But why can't we have one reliable cf in good scoring form, enough of all this torres rubbish, barca have villa, rmadrid have higuain and benzema, utd have hernandez and wellbeck, arsenal have rvp, liverpool have suarez, newcastle have ba, city have aguero, balloteli, dzeko. Why can't Chelsea boast of one lethal, in form cf to finish our attacking moves. We used to have drogba, if he is no longer scoring then we should go for another world class scorer, clearly torres is not good enough for us, he can't fill up the gap created by drogba's impending retirement. We were able to win several pl and get to the cl final bcos we had a powerful cf, drogba's impact is easily comparable to what ronaldo and messi are doing for the spanish clubs. We need a serious minded, agressive and lethal cf to champion our attack, or else we should forget about trophies for a while. Roman has to do something about it, mata is good, sturridge is good, but we need a top scorer so that we rub shoulders with the big boys again. Thats my opinion.
Mr Chelsea, I want the best for our club, torres is not it. I'd have, tevez, ballotelli, dzeko, rvp, wellbeck, hernandez, adebayo, odemwingie, even ba over torres anyday.
Im just kidding. You carry on
Im backing Torres all the way though
Of course I'm backing him too, he's all we've got, but i won't be surprised if he disappoints again today (not wishing it though)

We lost because Carlo failed to use width,in the first half he should have realised that Liverpool were just going to 'park the bus' and break us on the counter but he persisted with the front 3 of Torres and Drogba with Anelka just behind which lacked width to penetrate Liverpool defence.Having said that Carlo didn't have great options on the bench: Kalou,Malouda and Sala and the midfield 3 of Lampard,Essien and Mikel were useless that day so I can't really blame him.
This team/squad we currently have now should beat Liverpool no problem. Mata,Ramires,Meireles and Sturridge will add something we lacked last year against them at home
Oh and my previous comment was aimed at bluemungopark
Yeah I can see where you're coming from. Its his reluctantness to shoot or get a clean shot away which worries me. When he does get on goal, He needs a few seconds to think what to do and by that time he gets the ball taken off him.
Also it doesnt help when Lampard / Malouda look to shoot every time they get the ball. I honestly believe if we had less greedy midfielders that Torres would have scored more by now.
this is to wishing torres a good game

You will probably jump on the Torres bandwagon when he starts scoring regularly again.

I think there is something in this, but nevertheless Torres needs to step up another two gears.
Biggish the match cant come quick enough for me
Yeah definietely Torres needs to be more ruthless in front of goal. He needs to start having a go at our midfielders that includes Lampard, if they fail to pass to him when they had an opportunity to do so..
**during the summer transfer period not January
If Avb gets the defence right then we win. Simple
But he never does
To me the question is this; does he really consider himself a true Chelsea player, is he really bothered if we win or lose, or is he after his own objectives ie if he can get a goal or two, whether its enough for us to win doesn't really bother him. That is why he seems unperturbed* or indifferent when they don't pass to him. At times it appears to me that he is living in his own quiet world, with diff agenda, thats why he suddenly come to life after the break, avb needs to constantly shake him out of his reverie.
I hate to say this, and i even hope I'm wrong, I have a feeling that torres doesn't really like us, he has no love for Chelsea FC and its manifesting on the pitch, he dosn't scream for the ball, hardly smiles or at times hides behind a fake smile and looks for the slightest opportunity to make negative comments abt the club or his team mates which he will later deny.
I hope so, lets see how todsy turns out
