Firstly, we don't really have Tendulkar articles here at 606. So, stop confusing this with some other forums.

Secondly, what gives you an impression that this is a Sachin Tendulkar article. It's all about the top batsmen we have had over the years.
I can't skip Sachin just to keep you happy.

As I said in the article itself, Kallis is the best test match player out of all these players.

Where is Sanga who has averaged 73 in his last 50 tests since giving up the gloves?

I guess the best way would be to filter this muppet Afridi...which is DONE.
He couldn't reject the facts, so he starts posting crap comments to take it off-topic. Not anymore

Sangakkara averages an impressive 56.9, with an average of 76 in matches won..
Which statistically puts him ahead of almost all in the comparison bar Kallis.
But another way this can be viewed is that Sangakkara averages mighty 90 and 73 against Zimbabwe and Bangladesh.
He averages 30 in England, 36 in India..which is quite low for the number of matches played.
Averages 140 in Zimbabwe, 86 in U.A.E., 62 at home, 87 in Pakistan..
So, I would just call him a slower version of Sehwag who averages 4 more...and makes most of the poor opposition and favorable conditions.
It's amazing how similar his scoring pattern is to Sehwag when it comes to scoring at certain types of pitches.
Only difference is that Sehwag scores against bigger teams at almost double the strike rate.
I rate him, but don't rate him enough to compare him with other player in the list.

Yes because I am the truth.

Tendulkar has scored most of his runs in placid tracks where as Kallis and Ponting have done it under bowler friendly conditions.

I personally rate dravid better than sachin. his average nows doesnt tell the story, but its a fact that dravid averaged 59.13 from when he started till early 2007. After he was given captaincy, his average dropped and his poor form continued with some good knocks in between. Ofcourse now he is back in form and is scoring exceptionally well. The only batsman I would have loved to bat like is dravid. His batting is just so good to watch. Love his defense
