We've learned that when Neil Lennon questions an official it's met with protests and strikes.
When anyone else does likewise it's met with stony indifference.
Read into that what you will.
Surely you couldn't get ambulances up there. Waste of resources trying to maintain Health Resources up there.
They should helicopter drop in plasters every year....And maybe a jar of germaline.
It's a conspiracy.
Plenty of that on here yesterday during the ICT v Cceltic game
"Plenty of that on here yesterday during the ICT v Cceltic game"
You bhoys just never stop.
Seriously, I don't believe in any of it.
Now now bhoys. Clearly all managers like to have a moan at refereeeing decisions. Big Tel has a point after a ridiculous refereeeing decision. THat's not Celtics fault. Just shiiiiiit refereeing. And thats the point. Most managers complain about poor refereeing - and rightly so. But in the case of Lennon last year he went beyond excusing it as poor refereeing and suggested institutional bias against Celtic (* favouritism for Rangers). There was questioning of referees backgrounds, etc. Ineed he even accused oppositon managers and players of not trying so hard against Rangers.
So while all managers are entitled to feel agrieved at poor refereeing decisions. No-one, except one person, questioned their integrity. AND that is the difference
"But in the case of Lennon last year he went beyond excusing it as poor refereeing and suggested institutional bias against Celtic"
Did he?
Harry absolutely . It got quite unsavoury. Which is why the strike ocurred. Not because of questioning decisions. But questioning integrity
Jeezo. An accusation such as that is very serious and must have been widely reported in the press.
Any chance of providing us with a link or two to the story?
Thanks.

Why don't I remember any of that?
Neil Lennon asked why the penalty was given then not given and a ref was then found out to have tried to make up lies....He was found out because the linesman resigned then went to the paper to tell all.
This caused then caused the papers to then dig up poor ref exam results which then added insult to their injury.
After that Hugh Dallas was found to have sent a dodgy sectarian email which resulted in the papers...Not Celtic or Neil Lennon to question the refereeing integrity in Scotland.
Neil did question Hearts players of not raising their game against Rangers, but this was a Morhino style tactic used on many occasions by many managers.
In fact Ferguson has used it a few times.
So that's pretty much the facts...Not the deluded rantings of some bitter rival fan.
If Lenny made the same comments as Big Tel did,oor gaffer would be hung out to dry,a hope the spl do something about Tel,it's not the first time..talking of questioning integrity..will Hayes get banned or fined?

about halfway down
Bhoy. The ref was an eejit to lie we all know that. But the refereeing decision tio over turn the penalty decision was the CORRECT one.
You would probably be able to hear the cries of "THUG" from Mars if Lenny had come out with the ambulance quote.
But, with great power comes great responsibility.

Anyone see any mention of Neil Lennon questioning the referees integrity?
I do remember Jim Jeffries questioning their integrity shortly before that when he thought Celtic had scored an offside goal but I cannot remember Mr Lennon doing likewise.
Nah, it would appear that esctosh is suffering from some sort of advanced senility.
Terry b is a plank, his interview was comical "even the tannoy's conspiring against us now"
"Attack by fingernail"
if that was Lennon you can bet yer bottom dollar the ugly lot wid be on here gone nutz,he'd be gettin pelters fi thum.Ah wonder if butcher will get pulled up fur his comments about criticizing the refs, doubt it tho.
esctosh, lennon has never come out and said theres any bias at all,a ref blatantly lied to him and got found out then the rest of them started crying when they got showed up for how incompetent they are,why make up wee stories when theres nae truth behind them, anything to fuel yer rage against lennon i suppose

Celtic spokesman claiming institutional bias against Celtic.
Harry, the previous link was over the questioning of referees INTEGRITY as I stated
Butcher actual came out an said the SPL don't want Caley in the SPL..Wee Strach made butch look like a complete THUD yesterday
esctosh, nobody's debating that the decision was ultimately correct. But, as the rules of the game state, Neil can ask the question and that's when he was lied to.
This means that paperwork was falsified which by their own rules means the ref then gets dropped down some leagues....At best.
The guy was trying to cover his archie big time and lucked out that it was the right decision.
ectosh.
You put your finger right on it. I agree completely with you when you said referees were institutionally biased against Celtic and that other teams and managers don't try hard against Rangers.
Butcher was so angry yesterday because he was confident before the game that Caley could be playing against 10 men.
Also Lomas only new at the Sts wasn't aware the team was mean't to lie down after an hour or so.
Ally was frantically trying to get the message over to him.
Rangers would not be unbeaten in league if everything was above board. Sure they went out in Europe to rubbish.
You actually believe that impartiality ?
esctosh, do you think there's ever been any bias toward any team in Scotland by any ref?
The ref and assistant at Tannadice lied to one of their supervisors about how the correct decision was arrived at. When Lennon showed up they had to repeat the lie to him to keep it going. Stupid stuff of course but I bet one or two folk here have lied to their boss.
