Look at the post Neon this is about one day cricket and not test cricket. Afridi's record in test isnt to bad either but in one day cricket he is a top player and would walk into any one day team.
In terms of the rankings above, you forget that he had his self imposed retirement for 6 months and since he has been back he has been taking wickets so look forward to seeing him rise up the rankings.
Afridi a top player !!
???
Haha.... good joke.
swat, another blinkered Indian. No suprise there.
Shakib ul Hasan is far far better than Afridi. Any neutral fan would say so except for you guys.
And even Shakib isn't a top player yet ! Apply some brain guys.
"Shakib ul Hasan is far far better than Afridi" Utter delusion
How many teams would Shakib get into? Some but not many.
How many teams will Afridi get into? Every team in world cricket.
The great Shahid Afridi--
325 ODIs - Batting Average - 23
Bowling Average- 34
Proven Cheat................. Top player my foot.

Keep dreaming..... ! Even Ravindra Jadeja has a better chance of doing this.
Swat not only are you blinkered but also stupid . Jadeja and Afridi is like comparing Kallis with Yuvraj Singh. You clearly find it hard to keep an intelligent argument. I think you should leave ja606 and stick to Hindustan times.

Its a newspaper in India.
Neon i am going to agree to disagree with you on this cos you do find it hard to praise a player who called your nation a nation of the small hearts so i can understand your bitterness towards him.
Great result yesterday though at the Bridge.
Kash..open your eyes for a second.
325 ODI matches. Averages 23 with bat. Averages 34 with ball.
Top player ??? NOOO

Kash, whom are u arguing with? Rankings are never a true reflection.India securing no 1 ranking recently was a big blow to ICC's credibility.Their players became WC by solely scoring runs on dead tracks but when it came to manly pitches htey were pulverized.
