And ironically YNWA is an anagram of YAWN.

I'm still amazed at the power of fergies hearing, it's amazing how he heard the (alleged) racist slur aimed at the angelic Evra in front of the Kop, surely to be a witness he must've heard it all, right?

I'm still amazed at how blindly the Liverpool fans have defended Suarez.

Evra says Suarez called him something racist, while Suarez claims he doesn't know what is considered racist in England(apparently he's the first PL player who didn't know). Surely from this alone, you'd suspect Suarez did something wrong but doesn't want to admit it.

And to top it off, this is the same player who has previously been known for spitting, biting, diving, and "cheating" in the World Cup. Is it so far fetched to believe he's a racist as well?

Isle of Manc. When did Saurez say this? I'm assuming you're from the Isle of Man? I know someone from there, you're probably related...

Did I miss something? Has there been a hearing? Has the case advanced further?

I'm still amazed at how blindly United fans have believed Evra. This is the same player that has been involved in false allegations of racism in the past, is it so far fetched that this could be the case again?

Even fergie admits hes an "asset" for LFC. wouldnt he just love the asset to be banned and branded a racist.. who cares if hes innocent?

You can't reason with idiots mate, don't even bother.

The FA charged him you ignorant fool, I thought the story was pretty clear, Suarez said something racist (when spoken in English) but it was 'lost in translation'.

At the very best scousers should be defending Suarez, but to call Evra a liar stinks of hypocrisy, naivety and ignorance.

So please explain why Suarez has been charged, even though the law of the land is innocent until proven guilty...there MUST be some sort of proof or admittance from Suarez.

This little excerpt of your article must be one of the most moronic I've seen on Ja606.

Racism is a very serious issue so with Nani being a cheating diver what natural conclusion are you going to come up with for him?

C'mon guys when will this futile argument ever end. None of us actually know what went on. Nor have we heard the 'evidence' presented. Stop second guessing and let the FA do their thing.

"And to top it off, this is the same player who has previously been known for spitting, biting, diving, and "cheating" in the World Cup. Is it so far fetched to believe he's a racist as well?"

In answer to this:
Spitting - clearly no other footballer has ever displayed this kind of behaviour before???
Diving - never proven but pretty much ubiquitous and players are coached to fall over with a gust of wind never mind contact.
Biting - cant argue with that one. No place in society for that one let alone football.
Cheating - ermmm that's a bit of a rediculous thing to say. World Cup knockout stages, on the line certain goal if it doesn't hit your hand the vast majority of players would do EXACTLY the same thing and take the chance of being sent off.

So by your reckoning either it's a history of biting makes you a nailed on racist, or failing that pretty much every premiership player is predisposed to being racist as they all show degrees of these qualities.

I agree this is a futile argument. But...

Spitting - clearly no other footballer has ever displayed this kind of behaviour before???

If somebody spat on me, regardless of weather it's been done before, you are getting a twaat in the face. __________________________________________

Diving has nothing to do with weather or not you are racist.

Agreed, yet I find it strange you don't mind people spitting at each other or cheating people of their achievements.

This has also been done to death, I'd do it myself. What I wouldn't do is celebrate in front of the world and then claim that I have the hand of a god.

I do agree this has nothing to do with racism and it's a bit of an ignorant perspective of things from his point of view.

But take yourself out of Liverpool for a moment, and realise most Latin countries still have a huge racism issue, and Suarez has hardly made himself out as a very nice person. This doesn't mean he is a racist at all, but to accuse Evra of lying which most pool fans have done, when Suarez certainly doesn't help himself is ignorant and hypercritical.

I like you post, very thoughtful. The only part I would qualify is the part about Latin countries troubles with racism. From my experience it's no more prevalent there than in our own country and in fact racially, they have to field a fair amount of abuse themselves.

Let's hope the matter is resolved soon, it's a shame Evra and Suarez couldn't have sorted this out man to man. Everyone talks about that hatred of racism but it's caused a lot of I'll feeling between supporters too.

True story. The extra 'k' is handy for the swear filter.
