And when Lennon is injured + Walker has no speedboat backup when he's out of position ??

Your bladder cannot even cope with the WBA game.
Like to see ya when Walker does his impression of Barthram in the NextGen game against Basel ...

RDBD - Its not my job to be a scout

I just dont have a lot of confidence in Corluka, his slowness is a real worry, at least when Walker makes a mistake he has the pace to sort it out, i dont think i have seen a slower RB than Corluka

I dont have all the answers

Just not concerned if Charlie is sold in January with a better RB coming in ...but of course that new player will have to be happy being on the bench...

So much for this Corluka and Lennon relationship...Walker and Lennon seem to be working just fine for me

---------------

Good point RRP - the common factor there being Lennon, his defensive work is invaluable to any RB

G&S - Naughton

Who is "better RB" ?? Is he NEW STRIKERs' cousin ??

RDBD Dont make me you!!

All im saying is, i dont see Corluka being part of our squad for the future

Bales - I think Lennon does a lot more defensively than people think

It's simple really. Poor attitude, tell him he can wait until next summer and then he can leave. We'll have Naughton back then.

Charlie

Does that mean that Naughton will come back after his loan ??

===================================

Walker makes lots of mistakes but uses his pace to sort it out, Corluka makes very few mistakes, so doesn't need pace. Corluka's football brain is unbelievable.

I also find it quite funny that Lennon has still got this reputation for being a poor crosser of the ball, when in fact he has one of the best accuracy stats for crossing.

Charlie is 27/28 and obviously not going to get back in the team

Looks like come Jan we could have

Pav
Charlie
Gomes
Bassong (maybe)
Bentley (hopefully)

All gone

Looks like it Thudd, I can't see us splashing the cash on another RB when we've got ENGLAND INTERNATIONAL Kyle Walker.

"Naughton hasn't impressed me enough to make me think he'll make it at Spurs"

For every loan out to PL +/- lower clubs, how many have or look like they will make the grade.

Walker ?? Rose ??

We are not the football equivalent of Brunei with plenty of resources per position etc.

Corluka is 25!

If we lose Walker, we're screwed!

Chicken - Its not just about mistakes though is it, Corluka would be a real weak point in our team, most teams would target him as an easy option, all you need to do is turn the speed on and your away, when Walker is there, teams know he is solid

I think Lennon is a good crosser of the ball..Blame Andy Gray for starting that rubbish

RRP,

I remember when we were playing Man Utd & our RB (cant think who it was now...Hutton, possibly) was getting absolutely roasted by Ronaldo, mainly for pace...then Corluka came on at HT for Hutton?? & you have never seen Ronaldo so quiet. As i say, Corluka relies more on his brain & it works.

Walker suits our style of play better but i would be just as happy to see Corluka in the starting line-up as i would Walker. He has a very calming influence on the game.

Chicken :

Hutton >> Corluka.
Send RRP to retrieve the white Cafu.
