Could it be the poor quality of players we have. Normally wed go into Milwall at home and tonk them, im sure we'll win but it wont be a stroll, cant belive we lost o Barnsleh, we'll bounce back tommorow nite and everything will be alrite again and forgiven
Look at the games we have had at away from home.
All bottom end teams
Look at the ones we have had at home.
Fans at elland road back them.
I think it is our tactics and formation and the lack of creative thinking to play differently at home and away, using players that match up better with the opposition.
JLA ..... I actually believe the same as you .... i just found myself wondering on Saturday at the game. Is it just a lack of confidence in front of us. In fairness the crowd from the stands seem to be supportive for the most part. But then i'm not hearing the same noises as the players would from the pitch.
I firmly believe the midfield pairing of Howson/Clayton are too similar. I'll keep saying it that we're missing an enforcer type player in midfield, just in front of the back 4. Oh yeah, and as i've said on another thread - pace, we're lacking pace.
We lacked pace for years until we got Mad Max.
Pace and Max went to France together.
Speaking of which, we have not heard that much about him there. Disappeared much like Beckford has?
Are either of them missing Leeds yet?
Well I went to the Coventry game and it was as dead as a dodo!
There used to be a time when Leeds fans made a right racket and frightened opponents to death - but the seating, stewards and to some extent the players have made it like it is.
I also think the cost of tickets and the recession has stopped some of the more vociferous from going to ER as well.
I wish I could go against Millwall but I'm away
Should be a fantastic atmosphere with not only a fitting tribute to Speedo but also because it's Millwall - who we all love to hate

Im happy at my new club but i still miss lufc hope to come back one day M.O.T
So I think rhe answer to your question is
YES he's missing leeds
Spot on Stoopo, Bates wants a diiferent fan at ER,those who can pay top prices.
Introduce a singing area in a designated area with cheaper tickets to bring back some atmosphere.
JLA,selling Max was the end our promotion campaign.
The lack of pace/creativity is amazingly worrying.
As for Beckford/Max missing Leeds,I think the massive wages will more than compensate.
Our club is not set up for promotion.
Selling your best players then bringing in loans/journeymen is not a recipe for success.
Thanks 74.
Interesting tweet.
What do you (and others) make of it?
Think he regrets leaving. He'd of had a good shot of getting to the prem if he'd stayed
I agree had Max stayed we would have more points and carry much more attacking threat
