I really feel for your club Jim, you have to get rid of Kean and pronto the guy is a muppet, but I think Venkys think he will be great eventually cos he is scottish .

Hope these guys will listen too yous. Your team is good enough for mid table as it is, just need a managre Like O'Neill in charge!

Whilst I agree with what you say the English press should never have a say in whether a manager loses his job or not. Just look at Steve Bruce. They are almost apologising for his poor management whilst the likes of Wenger or Benitez or thrown to the wolves for having a blip in form at their clubs. And the way they peddle Harry Redknapp as some kind of messiah ready to step in and save England from that terrible manager Capello. Yes two managers almost the same age. One has won trophies and championships across the continent, the other won the FA Cup once and bankrupted the club in the process. They have their own agendas, and they are a bunch of mor*ns that should rarely, if ever be taken seriously.

I think that's the most measured statement about Kean I've seen for a while. If your Manager puts you in a job you like but can't do, But continues to tell you you are great and shows it by giving you pay rise after pay rise, maybe you begin to believe that you can do the job.

You then look at the pain for the money, or "is it worth it"

So you are villified by a number of people week in week out say 30,000 actively to be generous. and then you look at your salary.

To be honest, I would take his salary and think "Screew you" to the people who hate me. "If my manager thinks I'm doing rubbish he'll sack me, but you can think again if you think I'm giving up this pay check thank you very much"

Oh yeah, Kean Out

The Premier League checked the Venky's out thoroughly.

They play squash, so they're fit and have work permits, so they're proper!

Celtic supporter in peace

I think that Blackburn's best hopes of a manager are someone like Mark Hughes, to be honest.

Martin O' Neill is a brilliant manager and he worked wonders for my own club. However, he is a manager which needs the whole club to be pulling in the same direction as him. Celtic backed him with a lot of money at the beginning and he did amazing: the likes of Sutton, Hartson, Larsson, Lennon, Petrov, Lambert etc made a quality team that should have won the UEFA Cup. He eventually left to take care of his wife who was ill.

At Aston Villa he had them challenging for a UCL spot for the majority of the seasons he was in charge. But when the Villa board decided they would sell the likes of Barry and Milner and no longer back him with enough quality players to carry the club forward.

I do not think Martin would be able to tolerate your owners, he likes to run the whole club and do things his way. Your board do not seem like people who will help a manager. I sympathise for you, because the supporters are the people whom should matter most at a club, and you are being treated disgracefully by the owners who continue to back a terrible manager.
