The great Emile Heskey is on,

We haven't tested the keeper once this half. Come on there is no cutting edge. The fact that Villa have been so poor, we should make the most of it.

Diablo

Fair point, his link up play is still good in the middle, but doesn't look lethal in the final third.

The other month I pulled my hamstring and when it wen. I had a look behind me because I thought someone had kicked me.

Might be that rather than a rogue sprinkler however it does seem cursed on the pitch tonight

lets not forget that nani is playing up front which obviously isnt helping, hopefully welbeck will come on in a bit

that part has never been doubted but his main task is to score or create goals. He's stuck somewhere where he's not creating or scoring or even testing the keeper for that matter.

Is this the worst game of the PL season so far?

Few...skipped a heartbeat when the ball fell for Heskey. Thought he would power the header in. He's human after all.

With all due respect to Chicha who I love to bits we need a world class number 9. The type who is not wholly reliant on service but can also fashion a chance out of nothing.

If Utd win this 1-0 this will apparently herald the longest barren run (in front of goal) under Fergie. Stat provided courtesy of ESPN commentator Jon Champion.

Why have they brought Heskey on? We don't want to give Capello any encouragement in bringing him back into the England team.

Heskey > Chuck Norris

Where is Valencia's end product?

Diablo, I agree on Rooney.

I think Welbeck has the potential to lead the line for us as the number 9 though. He is by no means world class, but he does a great job for the team and holds the ball well.

surely barren implies that they have scored no goals
