Carrick has been very good in his last 3 or 4 games. Although Villa have been poor, him and Jones look a good pairing.

Although Jones feels his bets position is centre back, I think he does have a slightly clumsy side to his game and all the attributes to make a top midfielder. He almost always passes forward which is important.

The thing with Bent is that he will get you goals no matter what as long as he gets the service but he is pretty much rubbish at everything else.

Bent scores a lot because 10 other players lump the ball at him for 90mins 38 matches a season and he's a beast.

I'd imagine PSG are his most likely destination. Purely because they have the money to give his a nice final pay packet, in his home nation and they are a club who like the marquee signings.
