I lived in Alfreton for a couple of years, Chatham Avenue do you know it? Theres an industrial estate just across the way. It's a nice little town, but I'm back in Derby now, where I was born and bred. Is the outdoor swimming pool still there?

Yes...its in 1 of the galleries. Law and flint kissing the trophy and then kissing each other.

Yeah I went to Eastwood instead of Leeds. I was at the point were I'd had enough of watching Derby. QPR away was the last game I went to. I got to about 20 alfreton games last season. Mansfield at home was the most dissapointing

Wassa , i also live in Alfreton , i don't know the street you usedto live on though , the outdoor pool is no longer there , although a new leisure centre has been built . Amber , Mansfield at home was disappointing , the first half was comftable then the second half Alfreton just collasped . I also felt Alfreton were the best team ni the first leg at Mansfield aswell .

spot on griff right at the top of it, I used to like all the boozers round there, me and the missus used to go there were some wooden skittles in one of the pub gardens. We used to take the kids, they used to have a cracking time cause most the pubs were child friendly. I went to a couple of games while I was there, and fully enjoyed every game I attended, I don't have the time these days, unfortunately, it is a great little ground, one of my lads used to go the school near there.

wassa I reckon that pub was the Robin Hood on N*ttingham road. I went to Morts next to the ground. In fact in Oct 1989 Liverpool where playing away at F*rest on a wednesday night and they train on Alfreton's ground in the afternoon. I also remember playing football in PE at school a few months later and Everton where training on the pitch next to us as Alfreton's pitch was water logged. If I remember right they were at F*rest in the league cup and Southall held onto the ball to long and F*rest got a free kick and scored from it. won 1-0 and they went onto to win the bloody trophy
