I said the same thing to a colleague of mine about Man City going on a downward spiral now. I really think this will affect their players quite badly, since they all played up their abilities to succeed in Europe.

I'm loving every single minute of this, they deserve all the ridicule and ignominy at being ousted at the first hurdle in the CL.

Now, back to reality: LaM laugh>

Man City will still win the league, imo, and do the Disney Double (Carling cup and Europa).

Arsenal will win the FA Cup!!

We are obviously going to win the Fa Cup. Having you notice it is n conspiracy by the FA so we can win something this year. Wenger bribed them with some french delights.

City have been impressive in the league. They're stil unbeaten and banging in goals for fun. Plus they're champions league newcomers and their group was quite hard

United on the other hand. How they've gotten away with playing some awful football is beyond me. They got their comeuppance last night. The signs were there early on for everyone to see. When we went to OT, we should have scored more goals than one. They caught Spurs, Chelsea & Arsenal at a good time. Norwich went there and had a go at them and they should have come away with something ,They drew with Basel, Benfica, Stoke, Lost to City, Crystal Palace, The Arsenal 8-2 game papered over the cracks in all fairness. Stats may tell you that United have won plenty of games this season but if you watch them, they've been less than impressive in most of them.

2nd place is up for grabs.

Captain Chelsea

Don't agree with your Champions League statement. They might be new tot the competition but City have players like Toure, Silva, Na$ri, De Jong, Tevez, Aguero, Balotelli etc. Who have ll played in this competition before so they should have been good enough to qualify at the expense of the sublime Napoli.

Great One

Im not surprised they didnt qualify. Mancini doesnt have a good record in the CL. I dont think he knows how to set up his team properly in it. It was why he was sacked for Mourinho from Inter.

Captian Chelsea

Don't make me angry. You wouldn't like it.

If the draws are favourable, i think there is one spot avaiable for either us or arsenal in the semi's. Madrid, Bayern, Barca.......Would have said Inter but they are awful this season.

Bayern are beatable, don't get me wrong they're definately 3rd favourites. But I wouldn't go into the game with no hope.

Barca and Real really do look unstoppable.

I also love this "crisis" - 3 wins on the bounce in the PL and CL, qualification into the CL knockout stages, in the top four in the table and everything still to play for.

Long may our "crisis" continue .
