Mancini's greatest achievement was to spend half a billion quid to play in the C5 Cup. LAM

at the beginning of the season i said if arsene got us top four than it WOULD be his biggest achievement. however, looking at united since rooneys form has dropped, they have looked distinctly average. spurs have yet to have a bad result since their good form started, i'd like to see how they react. chelsea recently have been looking good, but i believe a good attack can still hurt them. i can't believe i'm saying this, but i actually expect us to finish top four now.

Liverpool will finish above Arsenal simply on the basis of having a better first team and a better squad - logic dictates.

Spurs should do the same for the same reasons. They may, however, be more likely to implode than Liverpool.

AFC are currently riddled with mid-table players well motivated by the extraordinary managerial/coaching skills of a certain Mr Wenger. That is the only thing that may save them.

Batmanu,

keep it under control, please. We get the point, the two Manchester clubs are playing Europa League football.

Gav you will have to filter me if you want me to keep quiet. Stupid glory hunting 's like 'me' were giving it large when we were the '5th club in London' and now they are getting it back. So if you don't mind

I don't see finishing top 4 as Wengers greatest achievement. This is a man who has won the domestic double twice, and gone a league campaign unbeaten.

Fact is he should have improved the squad before the season started and should have closed the Cesc/Nasri situations earlier.

We have every chance of finishing top 4 this season. If we can keep the spine of the team fit and playing and get in a striker to take the burden off RvP at times, then there is no reason we cannot finish top 4.

As for Liverpool having a better team and squad than us

Arsene’s greatest achievement
--------------------------------------------------

Managing the 4th(?) most richest club in the world for so long despite a 7yr trophy drought, never won in Europe and still in the job.
That is some achievement!

Gav, you really are like Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde. You make a decent article on the odd occasion and they follow it up with a ridiculous one.

To answer your question, NO, finishing in the top 4 would not be Arsene's biggest achievement seeing as he's managed to do it for the past 14 years.

Eugh.. This article is one big suck up.

Liverpool will be above Arsenal come May as they have a better squad. Arsenal are one injury away from relegation.

Liverpool have been without Gerrard and carragher for ages... Apparently their talisman and are still fighting for fourth.

Could Arsenal without rvp... No

no offence...
but gerrard and carragher have been past it for 2 seasons now. it's no surprise your defence looks better when carragher isn't in it.

Lol Metro, you're up there with Got_Better, Aggers Right Elbow, Reverend etc.

Liverpool are more reliant on Suarez than we are on RVP.

And suarez is nowhere near the level of RVP

Fighting for fourth? Try fighting for 6th with Newcastle.

Gerrard has been out, but Wilshere has been out as well. Difference being Liverpool have spent massive amounts on the likes of Adam, Downing and Henderson to cover.
Carragher and Vermaelen have missed a similar amount of games. In fact, a quick check shows Vermaelen has made 7 league appearances, Carragher 9.

And Arsenal have a striker who would be a bargain at £35 million, but only paid £2.75 million, whereas Liverpool have a striker most teams would laugh at paying £2.75 million for, yet Liverpool paid £35 million!!
