one of them things mate....didn't like the way CP set us up with no real drive, too much emphasis on possession and only playing 1 up top, we're not fúckin Spain.

That said we have some bright youngsters and it's a shame CP resigned straight after the game but hey-ho show's he's a man of honour

Fair enough - interesting to hear you're not a fan of the system, seems pretty similar to the old Gerrard-Lampard-Scholes conundrum where you've got too many central midfielders (Pirlo, De Rossi, Marchisio, Verratti, Candreva) to fit into a coherent system.

Can't argue with Prandelli's decision, if only Woy would do the decent thing and step down as well, along with Gerrard and Lampard.

Not bad ta mate, found out last week I'm not being kept on when I qualify - not the end of the world since I didn't want to stay anyway but would've been nice to leave on my own terms - especially since the other 2 trainees are being kept on, and one of them is qualifying into the department I wanted, and she never said a word about being interested in it.

He's got to go, it's one of those irritating situations where he points to the facts when it suits him - "unbeaten in qualifying" springs to mind, although we almost universally played terribly during qualifying and were lucky to have a weak qualifying group. And now, despite getting 1 point from 3 games, it's "stats don't tell the whole story, can't rely on stats." We're just as bad as ever, which is clearly down to the management since he's actually picked (for the most part) the right players this time.

Yeah something will turn up, I'm still here for another 2.5 months - not too bad since I can just spend all my time job-hunting and slacking off.

Wedding planning is fine mate, the missus' mum has basically done it all, I just have to turn up on the day.
