He made 35 appearances for Blackburn at a year younger.
I think he's started 19 or 20 of 26 games
He's a level headed lad, only 19, and is probably loving every minute
I wouldn't worry too much
I think without this ridiculous injury list we've had so far this season he would not have played as many games as he has so far, and I'm sure this is why Fergie has had to play him as frequently as he has.
He is a quality player and from what I've seen he's performed in pretty much every match well enough to start the next. However he will need to be rested eventually because even for a 19 year old all these games will catch up.
Another important reason to rest him is to protect him from any injuries. This is made even more important by the fact he's so young, when you pick up injuries at a young age I feel they can become a recurring problem later on in a players career.
So all in all, he deserves to start, but Fergie is going to have to rest him for a few games, hopefully in January when there is not as many PL games as there is now!
So is that a good thing that he is getting so many games since such a young age? Would it affect his fitness in the long run?
I'm not a specialist in this field but I'd guess that the amount of punishment a body can take varies greatly from player to player. Not every 19 year-old is the same. Some players are more easily injured or fatigued than others. Some keep growing longer than others. I know that my body recovered from the knocks, jolts, etc., of a game of football a lot faster when I was 20 than it does now I'm ... well, let's just say not much younger than Ryan Giggs.
As for Hargreaves, I wouldn't take the word of a frustrated footballer over medical and physiotherapy professionals as gospel. If the truth ever comes out about who was right, it probably won't be for quite a while.

Fergie will run him into the ground and blame Internationals for his tiredness
He made 35 appearances for Blackburn at a year younger.
That's 35 appearances over 2 seasons.
At a club like Blackburn you will probably play just over 40 games a season, at United you tend to stay in every competition until the later rounds, and every PL game is a must win. Add to that travelling around Europe and I'm sure fatigue is a much bigger issue at a big club (like United, Arsenal, Chelsea) than it is at a smaller club.
Looking at when he has played it follows a pattern of 4 5 or 6 games on the trot then a 1 or 2 game rest.
Looks to me like he is being given a rest when it's needed
He played at Aldershot for example when he'd missed the last two games

Hardly. England always come home early from competitions.
Jones is not as level-headed as people suggest. Where do these asinine assertions come from?
I mean he did spalsh out 130,000 K on an Aston Martin? i could deduce from that he wants to be a playboy and hence the wheels to go with - but that would have no merit.
Just like it would have no merit that he is a "laid-back" fellow.
To answer the OP. He is definitely over-played and over-praised. He has the potentila to be all that he wants to be but atm, he is average in all the positions he is shuffling about
I'm on about the friendlies Chinny

From actually meeting the guy and having a half hour chat with him.
Jones already has played 20 games till now and we aren't even halfway through. Now looking at our injuries he would play at least 40 games till the end of the season. Now any physio will tell you that no matter how tough he is lets now forget he is a 19 year old kid and also has tremendous psychological pressures on him to perform consistently that may well take it's toll not now but in future.

He will be injured for those.
Yeah, I've also met the guy. He's from Lancashire so he's very much a down to earth lad. Good guy, shame he left when he did.

Unbeliveably so for his age, and the sudden pressure being thrust upon him.
