Pilkington had bags of potential when he was at Stockport, but he hasn't progressed as much as many thought he would. Some would say he went to the wrong club to progress his career properly, but it shouldn't matter where he plies his trade if he's good enough.

I seriously think you're valuing him far too high and that's not even taking into account his shocking injury proneness that seems to have developed.

Cas this is what I wanted to originally respond to about your Pilks comment ! I also rate him highly and two footed players who can strike the ball as sweetly as he does are a rare commodity these days.... I expect to see Pilks in the Prem in the not too distant future !

I agree Kindon he definitely has the ability to play in the Premier League - if he goes somewhere where they can get his mental attitude sorted. Clarky doesn't seem to have managed to get him to cool down much in his time here, and Pilks certainly seems to ignore him quite a lot. He'll only prosper if he concentrates on his game and leaves all the childish behaviour behind.

Assuming you're talking about a wage cap and not a contraceptive for footballer's wives and girlfriends, we will do fine. Unlike yourselves, we refused to overstretch ourselves when attempting to get out of the lower leagues. In fact many that failed spent much more than us, so it wasn't just Huddersfield.

Once we establish ourselves at what must be considered our rightful level for our ability, it will be easier to maintain that push towards the next level within our means.

The wage cap will hit clubs like yours much harder because it takes into account only paying supporters....most of you freeloaders will maybe have to consider contributing towards watching your team fail.

One answer to both points...Norwich (a Premier League club) have made an initial offer of £1.75m.
That's sounds very much to me that indeed he has progressed and that Towns' valuation of £2m is realistic.

facts are at least 4 of our players are being linked to other clubs..this shows we are moving in the right direction,other teams now want our players! this would not be happening not too long ago under kd,s rule!
